Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

And many nations shall join themselves to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people. And I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,just as you saw that a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. A great God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.”

And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

A garden locked is my sister, my bride, a spring locked, a fountain sealed.

For this water goes there, that the waters of the sea may become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes.Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From Engedi to Eneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they are to be left for salt.And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.”

Awake, O north wind, and come, O south wind! Blow upon my garden, let its spices flow. For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations.

Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who bore you; for he was but one when I called him, that I might bless him and multiply him.For the Lord comforts Zion; he comforts all her waste places and makes her wilderness like Eden, her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of song.

The children of your bereavement will yet say in your ears:‘ The place is too narrow for me; make room for me to dwell in.’Then you will say in your heart:‘ Who has borne me these? I was bereaved and barren, exiled and put away, but who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; from where have these come?’”Thus says the Lord God:“ Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and raise my signal to the peoples; and they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame.”Can the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant be rescued?For thus says the Lord:“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.

Simeon has related how God first visited the Gentiles, to take from them a people for his name.And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written,“‘ After this I will return, and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it,that the remnant of mankind may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who makes these thingsknown from of old.’

by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God— so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ;

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

May there be abundance of grain in the land; on the tops of the mountains may it wave; may its fruit be like Lebanon; and may people blossom in the cities like the grass of the field!May his name endure forever, his fame continue as long as the sun! May people be blessed in him, all nations call him blessed!

They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion, and they shall be radiant over the goodness of the Lord, over the grain, the wine, and the oil, and over the young of the flock and the herd; their life shall be like a watered garden, and they shall languish no more.
