Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”

这妇人身为亚伯拉罕的女儿，受撒旦的捆绑十八年，难道不该在安息日为她解开捆索吗？”

何况这个女人是亚伯拉罕的后裔，已经被撒但捆绑了十八年，不应当在安息日解开她的捆绑吗？”

何况这妇人，做为亚伯拉罕的子孙，被撒旦所捆绑竟然有十八年，难道不应该在安息日这一天从捆锁中被释放吗？”

況且這女人本是亞伯拉罕的後裔，被撒但捆綁了這十八年，不當在安息日解開她的綁嗎？」

這個女人，是亞伯拉罕的子孫、撒但所捆鎖的、你看，已十八年了，她不應該在安息的日子得解開、脫離這鎖鍊麼？』

何況這婦人，做為亞伯拉罕的子孫，被撒旦所捆綁竟然有十八年，難道不應該在安息日這一天從捆鎖中被釋放嗎？」

況此婦為亞伯拉罕之裔、撒但繫之十有八年、不當於安息日解其結乎、

況此婦為亞伯拉罕裔、撒但繫之、十有八年、不當於安息日解其結乎、

況此婦為亞伯拉罕之裔、撒但繫之已十八年、不當於安息日解其結乎、

今此婦乃亞伯漢之女、為魔所困者、已十八年於茲矣。孰云安息之日、不宜釋其所縛乎？』

This woman is a member of Abraham’s family line. But Satan has kept her disabled for 18 long years. Shouldn’t she be set free on the Sabbath day from what was keeping her disabled?”

And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?”

Satan has bound this woman, a daughter of Abraham, for eighteen years— shouldn’t she be untied from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”

And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this restraint on the Sabbath day?”

So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound— think of it— for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound, lo, these eighteen years, to have been loosed from this bond on the day of the sabbath?

Satan has bound this woman, a daughter of Abraham, for 18 years— shouldn’t she be untied from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

Then shouldn’t this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen long years, be released from this imprisonment on the Sabbath day?”

Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”

Then he said to them,“ The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all.When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her,“ Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.”

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham.

“ Fellow children of Abraham and you God- fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.

Jesus said to him,“ Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.

So he called to him,‘ Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

And he is then also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless,because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring— not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

Jesus said to him,“ Away from me, Satan! For it is written:‘ Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”
