The Lord answered him,“ You pretenders! Doesn’t each of you go to the barn and untie your ox or donkey on the Sabbath day? Then don’t you lead it out to give it water?

主说：“你们这些伪君子，莫非你们在安息日不解开棚里的牛和驴，带它们去喝水吗？

主说：“伪君子啊，你们哪一个人在安息日，不从槽那里解开牛、驴，牵去喝水呢？

主回答他，说：“你们这些伪善的人！难道你们每个人在安息日，不也是把自己的牛或驴从槽边解开，牵去饮水吗？

主說：「假冒為善的人哪，難道你們各人在安息日不解開槽上的牛、驢，牽去飲嗎？

主回答他：「假冒為善的人哪，難道你們各人在安息日不解開槽上的牛和驢，牽去喝水嗎？

主說：「你們這些偽君子，莫非你們在安息日不解開棚裡的牛和驢，帶牠們去喝水嗎？

主說：“偽君子啊，你們哪一個人在安息日，不從槽那裡解開牛、驢，牽去喝水呢？

主回答他說：『假冒為善的人哪，你們各人在安息日、不從秣槽上把牛或驢解開，牽去飲麼？

主回答他，說：「你們這些偽善的人！難道你們每個人在安息日，不也是把自己的牛或驢從槽邊解開，牽去飲水嗎？

主曰、偽善者乎、爾曹於安息日、孰不解牛驢於廄、牽以飲之乎、

主曰、偽善者乎、爾曹安息日、孰不解牛驢於廄、牽以飲之乎、

主曰、偽善者乎、爾曹於安息日、孰不解牛驢於槽、牽以飲之乎、

主應之曰：『虛偽之人、爾中誰有禮日不解牛驢出廄、而引之飲水乎？

The Lord answered him,“ You hypocrites! Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie your ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water?

Then the Lord answered him,“ You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it?

But the Lord replied,“ You hypocrites! Each of you works on the Sabbath day! Don’t you untie your ox or your donkey from its stall on the Sabbath and lead it out for water?

But the Lord answered him and said,“ Hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you untie his ox or donkey from the feeding trough on the Sabbath and lead it to water?

But the Lord answered him and said,“ You hypocrites, does each of you on the Sabbath not untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it away to water it?

The Lord then answered him and said,“ Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?

But the Lord answered him, and said, Ye hypocrites, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

But the Lord answered him and said,“ Hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you untie his ox or donkey from the feeding trough on the Sabbath and lead it to water?

The Lord then answered him, and said,[ Thou] hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or[ his] ass from the stall, and lead[ him] away to watering?

Then the Lord answered him,“ You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from its stall, and lead it to water?

Therefore the Lord answered him,“ You hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and lead him away to water?

He asked them another question. He said,“ Suppose one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day. Wouldn’t you pull it out right away?”

Jesus said to them,“ I did one miracle, and you are all amazed.Moses gave you circumcision, and so you circumcise a child on the Sabbath day. But circumcision did not really come from Moses. It came from Abraham.You circumcise a boy on the Sabbath day. You think that if you do, you won’t break the law of Moses. Then why are you angry with me? I healed a man’s entire body on the Sabbath day!Stop judging only by what you see. Judge in the right way.”

Saul was also known as Paul. He was filled with the Holy Spirit. He looked straight at Elymas. He said to him,“ You are a child of the devil! You are an enemy of everything that is right! You cheat people. You use all kinds of tricks. Won’t you ever stop twisting the right ways of the Lord?

With their words ungodly people destroy their neighbors. But those who do what is right escape because of their knowledge.

Peter answered,“ May your money be destroyed with you! Do you think you can buy God’s gift with money?You have no part or share in this holy work. Your heart is not right with God.Turn away from this evil sin of yours. Pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.I see that you are very bitter. You are a prisoner of sin.”

You pretenders! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you. He said,

“ How terrible it will be for you, teachers of the law and Pharisees! You pretenders! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter. And you will not let those enter who are trying to.

He keeps those who are ungodly from ruling. He keeps them from laying traps for others.

You pretender! First take the piece of wood out of your own eye. Then you will be able to see clearly to take the bit of sawdust out of your friend’s eye.

How can you say to your friend,‘ Let me take the bit of sawdust out of your eye’? How can you say this while there is a piece of wood in your own eye? You pretender! First take the piece of wood out of your own eye. Then you will be able to see clearly to take the bit of sawdust out of your friend’s eye.

During that time a crowd of many thousands had gathered. There were so many people that they were stepping on one another. Jesus spoke first to his disciples.“ Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees,” he said.“ They just pretend to be godly.

It is the same with you. On the outside you seem to be doing what is right. But on the inside you are full of what is wrong. You pretend to be what you are not.

Those who don’t show any pity will vanish. Those who make fun of others will disappear. All those who look for ways to do what is evil will be cut off.

Leave the Pharisees. They are blind guides. If one blind person leads another blind person, both of them will fall into a pit.”
