When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her,“ Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.”

He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.

“ I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask. I am found by those who didn’t seek me. I said,‘ See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name.

Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”

Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say,‘ I am strong.’

But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man who had the withered hand,“ Rise up, and stand in the middle.” He arose and stood.Then Jesus said to them,“ I will ask you something: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?”He looked around at them all, and said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He did, and his hand was restored as sound as the other.

When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick;
