As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate, try hard to be reconciled on the way, or your adversary may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.

又如國王與他國之王交綏、安有不先自運籌帷幄、以視能否將兵一萬、以禦敵軍二萬者乎？苟其不能、彼必乘敵尚遠、遣使求和矣。

千秋之期既滿、沙殫又將被釋出獄、

因此、聖神警吾人曰：『今日若聞慈音、慎毋鐵石乃心！炯戒不遠、在爾先人；率彼曠野、頻忤吾神；目擊宏猷、垂四十春；雖遭百罹、漫不知悛；厭惡斯代、疾彼頑民；執迷不反；天理莫明；吾憤乃誓、不令入吾安寧。』兄弟其慎之哉！莫使爾中有一人存執拗不信之心、自絕於永生之主宰也。亟宜日相淬勵、乘今日未盡、發憤自新、庶幾爾中無有一人因罪惡之迷溺、而鐵石其心。

曰『爾等當勉入窄門。予實語爾、欲入而不得入者、眾矣。迨家主一興而扃其門、爾等始立門外而叩曰：「主為我啟。」主將答曰：「吾不識爾為何許人也。」爾將曰：「吾嘗飲食於爾前、爾嘗施訓於吾巷矣。」彼將語爾曰：「吾實不識爾為何許人也。作惡之徒、其悉離吾！」爾見亞伯漢依灑格雅谷伯及眾先知皆在天主國中、惟爾見擯於外、則必哀哭切齒矣。

嗟爾忘本者。庶幾知怵惕。莫令我震威。將爾歸消滅。我怒爾誰救。我誅爾誰活。
