假冒為善的人哪，地和天的氣色、你們曉得察辨，這時機、你們怎麼不曉得察辨呢？

偽善者乎、爾識別天地色象、何不識別此時乎、

偽善者乎、爾識別天地色象、何不能別此時乎、

偽善者、爾知別天地之氣色、何不能別此時乎、

虛偽之人乎、爾何察於天地之氣象、而獨不察乎今茲之時耶？

清晨的時候你們說：『今天會有風雨，因為天色通紅又變得陰沉。』你們能分辨天象，卻不能分辨時代的徵兆。

「你們要從無花果樹那裡學個比喻：當無花果樹的枝子發嫩長出葉子的時候，你們就知道夏天快到了。照樣，當你們看見這一切的時候，你們就知道人子快到了，就在門口了。
