你們這些偽善的人！你們懂得分辨天地的氣象，怎麼不懂得分辨這個時代呢？

偽善者乎、爾識別天地色象、何不識別此時乎、

偽善者乎、爾識別天地色象、何不能別此時乎、

偽善者、爾知別天地之氣色、何不能別此時乎、

虛偽之人乎、爾何察於天地之氣象、而獨不察乎今茲之時耶？

早上的时候，你们说：‘天色又红又暗，今天一定有风雨。’你们知道分辨天色，却不能分辨时代的征兆吗？

“你们应该从无花果树学个功课：树枝长出嫩芽生出叶子的时候，你们就知道夏天近了；同样，当你们看见这一切，就知道人子已经近在门口了。

说：“巴不得你在这日子，知道关于你平安的事，但现在这事在你眼前是隐藏的。日子将到，你的仇敌必筑垒攻击你，周围环绕你，四面困住你，要摧毁你和你里面的儿女，没有一块石头留在另一块石头上面，因为你不知道那眷顾你的时期。”

可是，对你们敬畏我名的人，必有公义的太阳升起来；它的光线有医治的功能；你们必出来跳跃，像栏里的肥牛犊。”

所有从撒母耳起，以及相继兴起来讲话的先知，都曾经宣告这些日子。你们是先知的子孙，也是承受神向你们祖先所立之约的人。神曾经对亚伯拉罕说：‘地上万族，都要因你的后裔得福。’神先给你们兴起他的仆人，差他来祝福你们，使你们各人回转，离开邪恶。”
