其不知而行當罰之罪者、受撻猶少。誠以賦之厚、則望之深、託之重、則責之嚴也。

But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

But suppose the servant does not know his master’s wishes. And suppose the servant does things for which he should be punished. He will receive a lighter beating. Much will be required of everyone who has been given much. Even more will be asked of the person who is supposed to take care of much.

Enter into the joy of your lord.’“ He also who had received the one talent came and said,‘ Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow, and gathering where you didn’t scatter.I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have what is yours.’“ But his lord answered him,‘ You wicked and slothful servant. You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter.You ought therefore to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back my own with interest.Take away therefore the talent from him, and give it to him who has the ten talents.For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away.

For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.

He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?If you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own?

although I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

You shall have one law for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is native- born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them.“‘ But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native- born or a foreigner, blasphemes Yahweh. That soul shall be cut off from among his people.

For as many as have sinned without the law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified( for when Gentiles who don’t have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves,in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying with them, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or else excusing them)in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my Good News, by Jesus Christ.

He called him, and said to him,‘ What is this that I hear about you? Give an accounting of your management, for you can no longer be manager.’

Timothy, guard that which is committed to you, turning away from the empty chatter and oppositions of what is falsely called knowledge,

But he refused, and said to his master’s wife,“ Behold, my master doesn’t know what is with me in the house, and he has put all that he has into my hand.No one is greater in this house than I am, and he has not kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”As she spoke to Joseph day by day, he didn’t listen to her, to lie by her, or to be with her.About this time, he went into the house to do his work, and there were none of the men of the house inside.She caught him by his garment, saying,“ Lie with me!” He left his garment in her hand, and ran outside.When she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and had run outside,she called to the men of her house, and spoke to them, saying,“ Behold, he has brought a Hebrew in to us to mock us. He came in to me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice.When he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, he left his garment by me, and ran outside.”She laid up his garment by her, until his master came home.She spoke to him according to these words, saying,“ The Hebrew servant, whom you have brought to us, came in to me to mock me,and as I lifted up my voice and cried, he left his garment by me, and ran outside.”When his master heard the words of his wife, which she spoke to him, saying,“ This is what your servant did to me,” his wrath was kindled.Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were bound, and he was there in custody.But Yahweh was with Joseph, and showed kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.The keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison. Whatever they did there, he was responsible for it.The keeper of the prison didn’t look after anything that was under his hand, because Yahweh was with him; and that which he did, Yahweh made it prosper.

according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent,

but in his own time revealed his word in the message with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward. But if not of my own will, I have a stewardship entrusted to me.What then is my reward? That when I preach the Good News, I may present the Good News of Christ without charge, so as not to abuse my authority in the Good News.
