The Lord replied,“ Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his household servants, to give them their allowance of food at the proper time?

主说：“那么，谁是那忠心又精明的管家，主人要派他管理自己的家仆，按时定量分粮给他们的呢？

主说：“谁是那个受主人委托管理家中大小仆役、按时分粮食给他们、又忠心又精明的管家呢？

主说：“谁是那忠心精明的管家，被主人指派管理家里的仆人，按时分粮呢？

主说：“究竟谁是那又忠心又聪明的管家——受主人委任统管他家人、按时分发粮食的人呢？

主說：「誰是那忠心有見識的管家，主人派他管理家裏的人，按時分糧給他們呢？

主說：「那麼，誰是那忠心又精明的管家，主人要派他管理自己的家僕，按時定量分糧給他們的呢？

主說：「那麼，誰是那忠心又精明的管家，主人要派他管理自己的家僕，按時定量分糧給他們的呢？

主說：「誰是那個受主人委託管理家中大小僕役、按時分糧食給他們、又忠心又精明的管家呢？

主說：“誰是那忠心精明的管家，被主人指派管理家裡的僕人，按時分糧呢？

主說：『那麼、誰是可信靠而精明的管家，主人所要委派去管理他的家僕，按時把定量食糧給他們的呢？

主說：「究竟誰是那又忠心又聰明的管家——受主人委任統管他家人、按時分發糧食的人呢？

主曰、孰為忠智之家宰、主任之督其家人、依時予之糧乎、

主曰、孰是忠智家宰、主任之督其家人、依時與糧、

主曰、孰是忠心家宰、主人任之督其家人、按時予糧、

主曰：『以爾度之、孰為忠敏之家宰、主可賦予職權、督理眾役、而能按時授糧者？

The Lord answered,“ Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?

The Lord answered,“ Suppose a master puts one of his servants in charge of his other servants. The servant’s job is to give them the food they are to receive at the right time. The master wants a faithful and wise manager for this.

And the Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time?

And the Lord replied,“ A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them.

The Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and sensible manager his master will put in charge of his household servants to give them their allotted food at the proper time?

And the Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time?

And the Lord said,“ Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?

And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall set over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?

The Lord said:“ Who then is the faithful and sensible manager his master will put in charge of his household servants to give them their allotted food at the proper time?

And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom[ his] lord shall make ruler over his household, to give[ them their] portion of meat in due season?

The Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the right times?

“ Who then is the faithful and wise slave, whom the master has put in charge of his household, to give the other slaves their food at the proper time?Blessed is that slave whom the master finds at work when he comes.

When he returned after receiving the kingdom, he summoned these slaves to whom he had given the money. He wanted to know how much they had earned by trading.So the first one came before him and said,‘ Sir, your mina has made ten minas more.’And the king said to him,‘ Well done, good slave! Because you have been faithful in a very small matter, you will have authority over ten cities.’Then the second one came and said,‘ Sir, your mina has made five minas.’So the king said to him,‘ And you are to be over five cities.’

So as your fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings and as one who shares in the glory that will be revealed, I urge the elders among you:Give a shepherd’s care to God’s flock among you, exercising oversight not merely as a duty but willingly under God’s direction, not for shameful profit but eagerly.And do not lord it over those entrusted to you, but be examples to the flock.Then when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that never fades away.

For the overseer must be blameless as one entrusted with God’s work, not arrogant, not prone to anger, not a drunkard, not violent, not greedy for gain.

One should think about us this way– as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.Now what is sought in stewards is that one be found faithful.

Watch out for yourselves and for all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God that he obtained with the blood of his own Son.

Remember your leaders, who spoke God’s message to you; reflect on the outcome of their lives and imitate their faith.

Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls and will give an account for their work. Let them do this with joy and not with complaints, for this would be no advantage for you.

Preach the message, be ready whether it is convenient or not, reprove, rebuke, exhort with complete patience and instruction.

Then when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these do?” He replied,“ Yes, Lord, you know I love you.” Jesus told him,“ Feed my lambs.”Jesus said a second time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He replied,“ Yes, Lord, you know I love you.” Jesus told him,“ Shepherd my sheep.”Jesus said a third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was distressed that Jesus asked him a third time,“ Do you love me?” and said,“ Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus replied,“ Feed my sheep.

Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that would be spoken.

When it was evening the owner of the vineyard said to his manager,‘ Call the workers and give the pay starting with the last hired until the first.’

I will install rulers over them who will care for them. Then they will no longer need to fear or be terrified. None of them will turn up missing. I, the LORD, promise it!

The one who had received the five talents came and brought five more, saying,‘ Sir, you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’His master answered,‘ Well done, good and faithful slave! You have been faithful in a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’The one with the two talents also came and said,‘ Sir, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have gained two more.’His master answered,‘ Well done, good and faithful slave! You have been faithful with a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’

The sovereign LORD has given me the capacity to be his spokesman, so that I know how to help the weary. He wakes me up every morning; he makes me alert so I can listen attentively as disciples do.

Elders who provide effective leadership must be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard in speaking and teaching.

A person has joy in giving an appropriate answer, and a word at the right time– how good it is!

in case I am delayed, to let you know how people ought to conduct themselves in the household of God, because it is the church of the living God, the support and bulwark of the truth.

You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the choice animals, but you do not feed the sheep!

Then he said to them,“ Therefore every expert in the law who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his treasure what is new and old.”

Jesus also said to the disciples,“ There was a rich man who was informed of accusations that his manager was wasting his assets.So he called the manager in and said to him,‘ What is this I hear about you? Turn in the account of your administration, because you can no longer be my manager.’Then the manager said to himself,‘ What should I do, since my master is taking my position away from me? I’m not strong enough to dig, and I’m too ashamed to beg.I know what to do so that when I am put out of management, people will welcome me into their homes.’So he contacted his master’s debtors one by one. He asked the first,‘ How much do you owe my master?’The man replied,‘ A hundred measures of olive oil.’ The manager said to him,‘ Take your bill, sit down quickly, and write fifty.’Then he said to another,‘ And how much do you owe?’ The second man replied,‘ A hundred measures of wheat.’ The manager said to him,‘ Take your bill, and write eighty.’The master commended the dishonest manager because he acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their contemporaries than the people of light.And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by how you use worldly wealth, so that when it runs out you will be welcomed into the eternal homes.“ The one who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and the one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.If then you haven’t been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will entrust you with the true riches?And if you haven’t been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you your own?No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”The Pharisees( who loved money) heard all this and ridiculed him.But Jesus said to them,“ You are the ones who justify yourselves in men’s eyes, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly prized among men is utterly detestable in God’s sight.“ The law and the prophets were in force until John; since then, the good news of the kingdom of God has been proclaimed, and everyone is urged to enter it.But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tiny stroke of a letter in the law to become void.“ Everyone who divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery, and the one who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adulter y.“ There was a rich man who dressed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day.But at his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus whose body was covered with sores,who longed to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. In addition, the dogs came and licked his sores.“ Now the poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.And in hell, as he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far off with Lazarus at his side.So he called out,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in anguish in this fire.’But Abraham said,‘ Child, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things and Lazarus likewise bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in anguish.Besides all this, a great chasm has been fixed between us, so that those who want to cross over from here to you cannot do so, and no one can cross from there to us.’So the rich man said,‘ Then I beg you, father– send Lazarus to my father’s house( for I have five brothers) to warn them so that they don’t come into this place of torment.’But Abraham said,‘ They have Moses and the prophets; they must respond to them.’Then the rich man said,‘ No, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’He replied to him,‘ If they do not respond to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

When the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her,“ Do not weep.”
