Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will prepare himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and he will come up and serve them.

It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.

It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready when he comes. What I’m about to tell you is true. The master will then dress himself so he can serve them. He will have them take their places at the table. And he will come and wait on them.

Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them.

The servants who are ready and waiting for his return will be rewarded. I tell you the truth, he himself will seat them, put on an apron, and serve them as they sit and eat!

* got up from supper and* laid His outer garments aside; and He took a towel and tied it around Himself.Then He* poured water into the basin, and began washing the disciples’ feet and wiping them with the towel which He had tied around Himself.

And I heard a voice from heaven, saying,“ Write:‘ Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!’ ”“ Yes,” says the Spirit,“ so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them.”

“ Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household slaves, to give them their food at the proper time?Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

But I am hard pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better;

The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying,‘ Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have earned five more talents.’His master said to him,‘ Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter the joy of your master.’“ Also the one who had received the two talents came up and said,‘ Master, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have earned two more talents.’His master said to him,‘ Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter the joy of your master.’

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found spotless and blameless by Him, at peace,

for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne.

Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.

for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

For as a young man marries a virgin, So your sons will marry you; And as the groom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you.

Therefore, I urge elders among you, as your fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and one who is also a fellow partaker of the glory that is to be revealed:shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not with greed but with eagerness;nor yet as domineering over those assigned to your care, but by proving to be examples to the flock.And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

but just as it is written:“ Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the human heart, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

I will rejoice over them to do them good and will faithfully plant them in this land with all My heart and all My soul.

And they* sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to learn the song except the 144,000 who had been purchased from the earth.These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are celibate. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from mankind as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

But stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

On the contrary, will he not say to him,‘ Prepare something for me to eat, and properly clothe yourself and serve me while I eat and drink; and afterward you may eat and drink’?

The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
