耶稣说：“你若愿意作完全人，去变卖你所拥有的，分给穷人，就必有财宝在天上；然后来跟从我。”

耶稣听见了，就对他说：“你还缺少一件：要变卖你一切所有的，分给穷人，就必有财宝在天上；你还要来跟从我。”

凡为自己积财，在上帝面前却不富足的，也是这样。”

又卖了田产和家业，照每一个人所需要的分给他们。

他们当中没有一个缺乏的，因为凡有田产房屋的都卖了，把所卖的钱拿来，放在使徒脚前，照每人所需要的，分给每人。

“不要为自己在地上积蓄财宝；地上有虫子咬，能锈坏，也有贼挖洞来偷。要在天上积蓄财宝；天上没有虫子咬，不会锈坏，也没有贼挖洞来偷。因为你的财宝在哪里，你的心也在哪里。”

我又告诉你们，要藉着那不义的钱财结交朋友，到了钱财无用的时候，他们可以接你们到永远的住处去。

他们在患难中受大考验的时候，仍然满有喜乐，在极度贫穷中还格外显出他们乐捐的慷慨。

至于那些今世富足的人，你要嘱咐他们不要自高，也不要倚赖靠不住的钱财；要倚靠那厚赐万物给我们享受的上帝。又要嘱咐他们行善，在好事上富足，甘心施舍，乐意分享，为自己积存财富，而为将来打美好的根基，好使他们能把握那真正的生命。

你们撒的种多，收的却少；你们吃，却不得饱；喝，却不得足；穿衣服，却不得暖；领工钱的，领了工钱却装入有破洞的袋中。

他说这话，并不是关心穷人，而是因为他是个贼，又管钱囊，常偷取钱囊中所存的。

注意！你们这些富足人哪，要为将要临到你们身上的灾难哭泣、号啕。你们的财物腐烂了，你们的衣服被虫子蛀了。你们的金银都生锈了；这锈要证明你们的不是，又要像火一样吞吃你们的肉。你们在这末世只知道积蓄钱财。

只要把杯盘里面的施舍给人，对你们来说一切就都洁净了。
