爾雖言於暗中、必將聞於光天。耳語密室、乃必揚於屋巔。

我在暗中告訴你們的，你們要在明處說出來；你們在耳邊聽到的，要在屋頂上宣揚出去。

我告訴你們：人所說的每一句無益的話，在那審判的日子，句句都要做出交代，

智慧人口中的話語有恩惠；愚昧人的嘴卻吞掉自己——他口中話語的開頭是愚昧，盡頭是邪惡的狂妄。

亞當的第七代子孫以諾也曾預言這些人，說：「看哪，主帶著他的千萬聖者來臨，要對所有的人施行審判，又要指證每個人以不敬神的方式所做的一切不敬神的事，以及不敬神的罪人所說的一切頂撞神的狂妄話。」

你不可詛咒君王，就是在意念中也不可；你不可詛咒財主，就是在臥室裡也不可；因為天空的飛鳥會揚其聲，有翅膀的會傳其言。
