於是耶穌對他的門徒說：『故此我告訴你們，不要為性命掛慮、要喫甚麼；也不要為身體掛慮、要穿甚麼。

耶穌謂其徒曰、故我語汝、毋慮爾生何以食、身何以衣、

耶穌謂門徒曰、吾語汝、勿慮生何以食、身何以衣、

乃謂門徒曰、我告爾、勿為生命慮何以食、勿為身體慮何以衣、

乃顧謂其徒曰：『故予語爾、勿慮生何以食、身何以衣。

Then Jesus said to his disciples:“ Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.

And he said to his disciples,“ Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on.

Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said,“ That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life— whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear.

Then he said to his disciples,“ Therefore I tell you, don’t worry about your life, what you will eat; or about the body, what you will wear.

And He said to His disciples,“ For this reason I tell you, do not worry about your life, as to what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear.

And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.

He said to his disciples,“ Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear.

在任何事上都不要憂慮；然而要在一切事上，藉著禱告和祈求，以感謝的心把你們所求的告訴神。

「所以我告訴你們：不要為你們的生命而憂慮吃什麼、喝什麼；也不要為你們的身體而憂慮穿什麼；難道生命不比食物更重要，身體不比衣服更重要嗎？應該看天空的飛鳥：牠們不撒種、不收割，也不收集在倉庫裡，你們的天父尚且養活牠們；難道你們不比飛鳥更重要嗎？你們當中誰能因著憂慮使自己的壽命延長一刻呢？你們為什麼為衣服憂慮呢？應該觀察野地裡的百合花是怎麼生長的：它們不勞動，也不紡織。但是我告訴你們：就連所羅門在他最榮耀的時候，所穿戴的也不如這些花中的一朵。你們這些小信的人哪！野地裡的草今天還在，明天就被丟進火爐裡，神尚且這樣裝扮它，更何況你們呢！所以不要憂慮，說『我們吃什麼？喝什麼？穿什麼？』因為這一切都是外邦人所尋求的，而你們的天父已經知道你們需要這一切了。所以你們應當先尋求神的國和神的義，這一切都將加給你們了。因此，不要為明天憂慮，明天自有明天的憂慮。要知道，每一天自有它的難處，這已經夠了。

你們行事為人不要愛錢財，要以現有的為滿足，因為神自己說過：「我絕不撇下你，也絕不離棄你。」

我希望你們一無掛慮。沒有結婚的男人所掛慮的是主的事，是要怎樣討主的喜悅；

你們不要追求吃什麼、喝什麼，也不要掛慮。
