When they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, don’t be anxious how or what you will answer, or what you will say;

当人押你们到会堂，或到官员和当权者面前时，不要顾虑如何辩解，或说什么话，

人把你们拉到会堂、官长和当权者的面前，你们不要思虑怎样申辩或说什么话。

当他们把你们带到会堂，或带到统治者和掌权者面前的时候，不要忧虑怎样申辩或说什么。

人帶你們到會堂，並官府和有權柄的人面前，不要思慮怎麼分訴，說甚麼話；

當他們把你們帶到會堂，或帶到統治者和掌權者面前的時候，不要憂慮怎樣申辯或說什麼。

人曳爾至會堂、及執政操權者前、毋慮何以對、何所言、

人曳爾至會堂、及執政秉鈞者前、勿慮將如之何、何以訴、何以言、

人曳爾至會堂及執政秉權者前、勿慮將如何伸訴、何以伸訴、何以言、

人曳爾至會堂、或有司之前、毋庸鰓鰓過慮、其何以辯護、如何措詞、

“ When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say,

“ You will be brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities. But do not worry about how to stand up for yourselves or what to say.

And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say,

“ And when you are brought to trial in the synagogues and before rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how to defend yourself or what to say,

Whenever they bring you before synagogues and rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how you should defend yourselves or what you should say.

Now when they bring you before the synagogues and the officials and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say;

“ Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say.

And when they bring you before the synagogues, and the rulers, and the authorities, be not anxious how or what ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

Whenever they bring you before synagogues and rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how you should defend yourselves or what you should say.

And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and[ unto] magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

But when they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, do not worry about how you should make your defense or what you should say,

But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

In the morning, their rulers, elders, and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem.Annas the high priest was there, with Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and as many as were relatives of the high priest.When they had stood Peter and John in the middle of them, they inquired,“ By what power, or in what name, have you done this?”

But watch yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils. You will be beaten in synagogues. You will stand before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.The Good News must first be preached to all the nations.When they lead you away and deliver you up, don’t be anxious beforehand, or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.

But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name’s sake.It will turn out as a testimony for you.Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand how to answer,

Therefore behold, I send to you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;

He said to his disciples,“ Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear.

When they had brought them, they set them before the council. The high priest questioned them,saying,“ Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”But Peter and the apostles answered,“ We must obey God rather than men.The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed, hanging him on a tree.God exalted him with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

But some of those who were of the synagogue called“ The Libertines”, and of the Cyrenians, of the Alexandrians, and of those of Cilicia and Asia arose, disputing with Stephen.They weren’t able to withstand the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.Then they secretly induced men to say,“ We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.”They stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes, and came against him and seized him, then brought him in to the council,and set up false witnesses who said,“ This man never stops speaking blasphemous words against this holy place and the law.For we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place, and will change the customs which Moses delivered to us.”All who sat in the council, fastening their eyes on him, saw his face like it was the face of an angel.
