耶穌對他們說：「你們要謹慎，要防備法利賽人和撒都該人的酵。」門徒彼此議論說：「這是因為我們沒有帶餅吧。」耶穌知道了，就說：「你們這小信的人，為甚麼因為沒有餅就彼此議論呢？你們還不明白嗎？不記得那五個餅分給五千人，你們收拾了多少籃子的碎屑嗎？也不記得那七個餅分給四千人，你們又收拾了多少筐子的碎屑嗎？我對你們說『要防備法利賽人和撒都該人的酵』，這話不是指着餅說的，你們怎麼不明白呢？」門徒這才明白他所說的不是要他們防備餅的酵，而是要防備法利賽人和撒都該人的教訓。

「那心中不敬虔的人積蓄怒氣；神捆綁他們，他們竟不求救。

王派攙扶他的那軍官在城門指揮，百姓在城門把他踩死了，正如神人在王下到他那裏的時候所說的。

他們聽見了，就歸榮耀給神，對保羅說：「弟兄，你看猶太人中有數以萬計的信徒，而他們都是熱心於律法的人。

你們有禍了！因為你們如同不顯露的墳墓，走在上面的人並不知道。」

耶穌和他們下了山，站在一塊平地上；在一起的有許多門徒，又有許多百姓從全猶太和耶路撒冷，並推羅、西頓的海邊來，

我當日所領受又傳給你們的，最重要的就是：照聖經所說，基督為我們的罪死了，

惡人歡樂的聲音是暫時的，不敬虔人的喜樂不過是轉眼之間。

耶穌站在革尼撒勒湖邊，眾人擁擠他，要聽神的道。

不敬虔的人有甚麼指望呢？神要剪除他，取他的性命。
