耶稣对他们说：“你们要小心，提防法利赛人和撒都该人的酵。”他们就彼此议论说：“这是因为我们没有带饼吧。”耶稣知道了，就说：“小信的人，为什么议论没有饼这件事呢？你们还不明白吗？你们是不是忘记了那五个饼分给五千人，又装满了多少个篮子呢？还是忘记了那七个饼分给四千人，又装满了多少个大篮子呢？我对你们讲的不是饼的事，你们为什么不明白？你们要提防法利赛人和撒都该人的酵。”这时他们才领会耶稣说的不是要提防饼酵，而是要提防法利赛人和撒都该人的教训。

那些心里不敬虔的人积存怒气，神捆绑他们，他们竟不呼求。

王指派那官长，就是那搀扶他的，在城门口镇压。众民在城门那里把他践踏在地，他就死了，好像神人所说的，就是王下来到神人那里时，他所说的。

他们听了，就赞美神，对保罗说：“弟兄，你看，犹太人中信主的有好几万，都是对律法很热心的人。

伪君子啊！你们知道分辨天地的气象，怎么不知道分辨这个时代呢？

你们有祸了！因为你们好像不显露的坟墓，走在上面的人并不知道。”

耶稣和他们下了山，站在平地上，有一大群门徒同他在一起，又有一大批从犹太全地、耶路撒冷和推罗、西顿海边来的人。

我从前领受了又传交给你们那最要紧的，就是基督照着圣经所记的，为我们的罪死了，

恶人的欢呼并不长久，不敬虔者的快乐，不过是暂时的吗？

耶稣站在革尼撒勒湖边，众人拥挤他，要听神的道。

不敬虔的人被剪除，神夺去他性命的时候还有什么指望呢？
