哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！爾曹向眾緊閉天國、己既不進、又阻人之進。

第恐流傳益廣、當加以警誡、使勿再奉耶穌之名以訓人。』復召之至、如議戒之；

於是若輩復召夙盲之人、而語之曰：『汝其以天主光榮為懷！吾人明知彼乃罪人。』對曰：『其為罪人與否？吾不之知；惟吾素為盲者、今乃明見、此則吾之所知也。』復問曰：『彼人果施何術於汝之身、而啟汝目乎？』對曰：『吾適已告爾、而爾置若罔聞。今何又欲問之豈爾等亦欲為其門徒耶？』彼等詈曰：『汝乃斯人之徒、而吾輩則摩西之徒也。吾知天主曾與摩西語矣；若夫斯人、吾實不知其所自？』其人應之曰：『爾謂不知其所自然彼固已啟吾之目矣。噫、是亦異矣！夫吾人固知天主不聽罪人、惟敬事天主而遵行其旨者、主則聽焉。自古以來、未聞有能啟胎瞽之目者。苟斯人而不自天主、其亦無能為也已！』眾曰：『汝以負罪而生之身、乃欲予吾儕以教訓耶？』遂相與擯而出之。

法利塞人曰：『得毋爾曹亦受其熒惑乎！夫薦紳先生、及法利塞人有信之者乎？惟彼眾庶、昧於律法、其亦可詛也已！』尼閣德睦即暮夜晉謁耶穌者、當時亦在其間、乃謂之曰：『未先聽訟、一究其所行、吾法豈能遽加以罪乎？』法利塞人應之曰：『汝亦加利利人耶？汝試一檢群經、應知加利利非出先知之地也！』

一明律士進曰：『夫子、爾為是語、亦辱吾儕矣。』耶穌曰：『哀哉明律士！蓋爾曹以難負之任、加人仔肩、而己則不運一指也。

眾中有法利塞數人、謂耶穌曰：『夫子、請斥責汝徒。』耶穌應曰：『予實語爾、彼即噤口、石亦鳴矣。』

眾然其言、召宗徒至命毋奉名傳道、笞而釋之。
