禍哉爾教法師乎、因爾奪知識之鑰、爾自不進、有欲進者、爾則阻之、

哀哉明律士！爾曹奪去知識之管籥、己不願進、亦不容人之進也。』

“ Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering.”

“经文士和法利赛人哪，你们这些伪善的人有祸了！因为你们在人的面前封闭了天国。你们自己不进去，也不让正要进的人进去。

祭司的嘴当谨守知识，人当从他口中寻求训诲，因为他是万军之耶和华的使者。”

不过为了避免这事在民间传扬更广，让我们威吓他们，不可再奉耶稣的名对任何人讲话。”于是把他们叫来，吩咐他们绝对不可奉耶稣的名讲说或教导人。

他们再次把那原来瞎眼的人叫来，对他说：“你要把荣耀归给神！我们知道那人是个罪人。”他回答：“他是不是罪人，我不知道。但有一件事我知道：我原来是瞎眼的，现在却能看见了！”他们问：“他对你做了什么？怎么开了你的眼睛？”他回答：“我已经告诉过你们，你们不听，为什么现在又想听呢？难道你们也想成为他的门徒吗？”他们就辱骂他，说：“你才是那个人的门徒！我们是摩西的门徒！我们知道神对摩西说过话，至于这个人，我们就不知道他是从哪里来的！”他回答说：“这就奇怪了！他开了我的眼睛，你们竟然不知道他是从哪里来的！我们知道神是不听罪人的，然而，如果有人敬畏神、遵行他的旨意，神就垂听他。自古以来，没有人听说过谁开了生来就瞎眼之人的眼睛。那个人如果不是从神而来的，他什么也不能做。”他们回答他，说：“你完全是生在罪孽中的，还敢教训我们！”于是把他赶了出去。

法利赛人说：“难道你们也被迷惑了吗？难道首领或法利赛人中有信他的吗？这不懂律法的民众是被诅咒的！”他们当中有一个人，就是原先来到耶稣那里的尼克迪莫，对他们说：“如果不先听本人的口供，并且了解他做了什么，我们的律法就定不了他的罪，难道不是吗？”他们回答说：“你也不会是加利利人吧？你去查一查看，先知是不会从加利利兴起的！”

有一个律法师对耶稣说：“老师，你说这些话，把我们也侮辱了。”耶稣说：“你们这些律法师也有祸了！因为你们使人背负难挑的重担，但自己却连一根指头也不肯碰它们一下。

人群中有一些法利赛人对耶稣说：“老师，责备你的门徒吧！”耶稣回答说：“我告诉你们：这些人如果不做声，石头都会呼喊起来！”

就叫来使徒们，鞭打了以后，吩咐他们不可再奉耶稣的名讲说，然后把他们释放了。
