使創世以來、流先知血之罪、將於此代而討焉、

致創世以來、流先知之血、悉將討於此代、

故自有世以來、眾先知所流之血、咸將歸於斯代。」

Therefore this generation will be held responsible for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning of the world,

So the people of today will be punished. They will pay for all the prophets’ blood spilled since the world began.

流你们血、害你们命的，无论是兽是人，我必讨他的罪，就是向各人的弟兄也是如此。凡流人血的，他的血也必被人所流，因为神造人是照自己的形像造的。

“耶路撒冷啊，要剪发抛弃，在净光的高处举哀；因为耶和华丢掉离弃了惹他忿怒的世代。”

不可跪拜那些像，也不可侍奉它，因为我耶和华你的神是忌邪的神。恨我的，我必追讨他的罪，自父及子，直到三四代；

因为耶和华从他的居所出来，要刑罚地上居民的罪孽。地也必露出其中的血，不再掩盖被杀的人。

这是行毁灭的临到巴比伦。巴比伦的勇士被捉住，他们的弓折断了；因为耶和华是施行报应的神，必定施行报应。

这样，你们就不污秽所住之地，因为血是污秽地的；若有在地上流人血的，非流那杀人者的血，那地就不得洁净。

因为那追讨流人血之罪的，他记念受屈的人，不忘记困苦人的哀求。

又因他流无辜人的血，充满了耶路撒冷；耶和华决不肯赦免。

天哪，众圣徒、众使徒、众先知啊，你们都要因她欢喜，因为神已经在她身上伸了你们的冤。有一位大力的天使举起一块石头，好像大磨石，扔在海里，说：“巴比伦大城也必这样猛力地被扔下去，决不能再见了。弹琴、作乐、吹笛、吹号的声音，在你中间决不能再听见；各行手艺人在你中间决不能再遇见；推磨的声音在你中间决不能再听见；灯光在你中间决不能再照耀；新郎和新妇的声音，在你中间决不能再听见。你的客商原来是地上的尊贵人；万国也被你的邪术迷惑了。”先知和圣徒，并地上一切被杀之人的血，都在这城里看见了。
