致創世以來所流先知之血、皆於此代而討焉、

使創世以來、流先知血之罪、將於此代而討焉、

致創世以來、流先知之血、悉將討於此代、

故自有世以來、眾先知所流之血、咸將歸於斯代。」

Therefore this generation will be held responsible for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning of the world,

So the people of today will be punished. They will pay for all the prophets’ blood spilled since the world began.

流你们的血、害你们生命的，我必向他们追偿；无论是走兽或人类，甚至各人自己的兄弟，我必要他偿命。流人血的，人也必流他的血；因为神造人，是按着他自己的形象。

“‘你要剪去头发，并且把它抛掉，上到光秃的高冈举哀，因为耶和华摈斥、弃绝了他所憎恨的世代。’”

不可跪拜它们，也不可事奉它们，因为我耶和华你们的神是忌邪的神；恨恶我的，我必追讨他们的罪，从父亲到儿子，直到三四代。

因为你看！耶和华从他的居所出来，要惩罚地上居民的罪孽；大地要露出其上所流的血，不再遮盖被杀的人。”

因为有一位行毁灭的来攻击巴比伦，巴比伦的勇士被擒住，他们的弓弩折断了，因为耶和华是报应的神，他必报复巴比伦。

这样，你们就没有玷污你们所在之地，因为血能玷污地；在地上如果有流人血的，除非流那故意杀人者的血，那地的血就不能得赎。

因为那追讨流人血的罪的，他记念受苦的人，他没有忘记他们的哀求。

又因着他所流无辜人的血，他使耶路撒冷满了无辜人的血，耶和华决不赦免。

天哪，你要因她欢喜！众圣徒、众使徒、众先知啊，你们也要因她欢喜！因为神已经在她身上为你们伸了冤。”有一位大力的天使，把一块好像大磨石一样的石头，举起来抛在海里，说：“巴比伦大城也必这样被猛力地抛下去，决不能再找到了！弹琴、奏乐、吹笛、吹号的声音，在你中间决不能再听到了！各样手艺技工，在你中间决不能再找到了！推磨的声音，在你中间决不能再听到了！灯的亮光，在你中间决不能再照耀了！新郎新娘的声音，在你中间决不能再听到了！你的商人一向都是地上的大人物，万国都因你的邪术受了迷惑。先知、圣徒和地上一切被杀的人的血，都在这城里找到了！”
