Jesus replied,“ And you experts in the law, woe to you, because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.

耶稣回答说：“你们这些律法教师也有祸了！你们把沉重难负的担子放在别人肩上，自己却连一根指头也不肯动。

耶稣说：“你们律法师也有祸了，因为你们把难担的担子叫人担，自己连一个指头也不动。

耶稣说：“你们这些律法师也有祸了！因为你们使人背负难挑的重担，但自己却连一根指头也不肯碰它们一下。

耶穌說：「你們律法師也有禍了！因為你們把難擔的擔子放在人身上，自己一個指頭卻不肯動。

耶穌說：「你們律法師也有禍了！因為你們把難挑的擔子放在別人身上，自己卻不肯動一個指頭去減輕這些擔子。

耶穌回答說：「你們這些律法教師也有禍了！你們把沉重難負的擔子放在別人肩上，自己卻連一根指頭也不肯動。

耶穌說：“你們律法師也有禍了，因為你們把難擔的擔子叫人擔，自己連一個指頭也不動。

耶穌說：『你們律法師也有禍啊！因為你們把難挑的擔子給人背，自己呢、連一根手指頭也不捫着那些擔子！

耶穌說：「你們這些律法師也有禍了！因為你們使人背負難挑的重擔，但自己卻連一根指頭也不肯碰它們一下。

禍哉爾律師乎、以爾任難負之任於人、而己則不著一指、

曰、教法師、其有禍乎、蓋爾以難負之任、使人荷之、而己則一指不按、

耶穌曰、禍哉爾教法師乎、因爾以難負之任、使人負之、而己則一指不按於上、

耶穌曰：『哀哉明律士！蓋爾曹以難負之任、加人仔肩、而己則不運一指也。

Jesus replied,“ How terrible for you authorities on the law! You put such heavy loads on people that they can hardly carry them. But you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.

And he said,“ Woe to you lawyers also! For you load people with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.

“ Yes,” said Jesus,“ what sorrow also awaits you experts in religious law! For you crush people with unbearable religious demands, and you never lift a finger to ease the burden.

Then he said,“ Woe also to you experts in the law! You load people with burdens that are hard to carry, and yet you yourselves don’t touch these burdens with one of your fingers.

But He said,“ Woe to you lawyers as well! For you load people with burdens that are hard to bear, while you yourselves will not even touch the burdens with one of your fingers.

And He said,“ Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.

And he said, Woe unto you lawyers also! for ye load men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

Then He said:“ Woe also to you experts in the law! You load people with burdens that are hard to carry, yet you yourselves don’t touch these burdens with one of your fingers.

And he said, Woe unto you also,[ ye] lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

But Jesus replied,“ Woe to you experts in religious law as well! You load people down with burdens difficult to bear, yet you yourselves refuse to touch the burdens with even one of your fingers!

He said,“ Woe to you lawyers also! For you load men with burdens that are difficult to carry, and you yourselves won’t even lift one finger to help carry those burdens.

“ Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering.”

Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.

Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees,

“ The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat.So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

“ Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

One of the experts in the law answered him,“ Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us also.”
