If therefore thy whole body be full of light, having no part dark, it shall be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining doth give thee light.

若爾全身有光、無一毫之暗、則其光純全、似燈光焰照爾、○

果能清明在躬、絲毫不昧、則光明瑩徹、正如燈火之輝煌照爾矣。』

Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you.”

Suppose your whole body is full of light. And suppose no part of it is dark. Then your body will be full of light. It will be just as when a lamp shines its light on you.”

If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly bright, as when a lamp with its rays gives you light.”

If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light.”

If, therefore, your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, it will be entirely illuminated, as when a lamp shines its light on you.”

Therefore if your whole body is full of light, without any dark part, it will be wholly illuminated, as when the lamp illuminates you with its light.”

If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.”

If, therefore, your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, it will be entirely illuminated, as when a lamp shines its light on you.”

If thy whole body therefore[ be] full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

If then your whole body is full of light, with no part in the dark, it will be as full of light as when the light of a lamp shines on you.”

For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

The spirit of man is the lamp of Jehovah, Searching all his innermost parts.

Oh how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies; For they are ever with me.I have more understanding than all my teachers; For thy testimonies are my meditation.I understand more than the aged, Because I have kept thy precepts.I have refrained my feet from every evil way, That I might observe thy word.I have not turned aside from thine ordinances; For thou hast taught me.How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!Through thy precepts I get understanding: Therefore I hate every false way.Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.

Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day.The way of the wicked is as darkness: They know not at what they stumble.

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, And lay up my commandments with thee;So as to incline thine ear unto wisdom, And apply thy heart to understanding;Yea, if thou cry after discernment, And lift up thy voice for understanding;If thou seek her as silver, And search for her as for hid treasures:Then shalt thou understand the fear of Jehovah, And find the knowledge of God.For Jehovah giveth wisdom; Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding:He layeth up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to them that walk in integrity;That he may guard the paths of justice, And preserve the way of his saints.Then shalt thou understand righteousness and justice, And equity, yea, every good path.For wisdom shall enter into thy heart, And knowledge shall be pleasant unto thy soul;Discretion shall watch over thee; Understanding shall keep thee:

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and for ever. Amen.

To the law and to the testimony! if they speak not according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.

and that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness:that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.

But he that looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and so continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing.

And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; in paths that they know not will I lead them; I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things will I do, and I will not forsake them.

And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete it shall be measured unto you; and more shall be given unto you.For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath.

But solid food is for fullgrown men, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.

And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath.

That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; And that the man of understanding may attain unto sound counsels:

And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

And let us know, let us follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is sure as the morning; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.
