求我主耶穌基督之天主、榮耀之父、賜爾以智慧默示之神、使爾識主、

我遣爾為明其目、俾棄暗就光、離撒但之權、歸於天主、使其因信我而罪得赦、於諸聖徒中獲業、

如經載云、主使其心昏迷、目不見、耳不聞、至於今日、大衛曰、願其筵席成為網羅、機檻、礙石、以為其報、願其目矇而不見、其背屈而不伸、

爾有目不視乎、有耳不聽乎、亦不憶乎、

爾此愚昧無知之民、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言、

爾為奴者、當凡事順從轄爾身之主人、勿效彼取悅於人者、但在目前服役、乃以誠心、且畏天主、

彼惡者至、藉撒但之力、行一切虛偽之大能異跡奇事、及種種惑眾之邪惡、在將沈淪者之中、蓋彼眾不悅真理、且不受之而得救、故天主使其大謬、信從虛偽、使凡不信真理反悅不義者、悉被定罪、○

使其視而不明、聞而不悟、免其悔改、而罪得赦、

我之良心、證我處世為人、常以天主所賜之誠心實意、不恃肉體之智慧、惟恃天主之恩寵、我在爾中更如是、此乃我所誇者也、

神人之僕夙興而出、見軍卒車馬環繞其城、對神人曰、哀哉、我主歟、我儕將何為、曰、勿懼、助我者較助彼者眾、以利沙禱曰、求主明僕之目、使其得見、主遂明僕之目、見遍山有火車火馬、環繞以利沙、敵人下至以利沙所、以利沙禱曰、求主使斯眾目迷不明、主即使之目迷、應以利沙所禱者、以利沙謂之曰、此非其途、亦非其城、爾可從我、爾所求之人、我導爾至其處、遂導之至撒瑪利亞、既入撒瑪利亞、以利沙禱曰、求主明斯眾之目、使其得見、主明其目、使其得見、乃知在撒瑪利亞城中、

孰為瞽者、豈非我僕、孰聾如我所遣之使、孰瞽如我之良友、孰瞽如主之僕、

目貪之人、急求富有、不知窮乏終必臨之、

蓋主使爾猶如酣睡、閉爾目、蒙爾首、爾目即先知、爾首即先見、

惟彼不知不悟、目塗不見、心蔽不明、

盜竊、貪婪、惡毒、詭詐、邪侈、疾視、褻瀆、驕傲、狂妄、

日日一心在聖殿、又家家擘餅、歡心誠意而食、

我即任其心中剛愎、聽其隨意而行、

今主手擊爾、爾必瞽、暫不見日、其目立矇而暗、遍求人導之行、

使斯民心蒙、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視、耳聽、心悟悔改、而得醫治、

且使眾於門外、自老到幼、目矇不明、索門不得、

爾為奴者、當畏懼戰慄、以誠心順服轄爾身之主人、如順服基督然、
