即今遣爾就之者、俾啟其目、使之離暗就光、脫撒但之權、而歸上帝、致得罪赦、同獲因信成聖之業、

如經云、上帝賦之以昏昧之心、目不見、耳不聞、至於今日、大衛曰、令其筵為絆、為檻、為礙、為報、其目矇而不見、其背終於傴僂、

爾有目不視、有耳不聽、亦不憶乎、

愚昧無知之民歟、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、爾其聽此、

僕宜凡事順爾形軀之主、非以目前之服役、如取悅於人者、乃專誠畏主也、

彼之來、乃依撒但之工作、以諸能諸兆諸偽蹟、又以非義之諸詭譎、加於淪亡者、因其不納真理之愛、致得救焉、故上帝施以乖謬、致信誑言、俾凡不信真理、而悅不義者服鞫、○

俾其視而不明、聽而不悟、恐其轉移而獲赦也、

夫我所以誇者、乃良心作證、非恃形軀之智、惟恃上帝之恩、以上帝所賦之聖與誠、為人於世、於爾曹為尤甚、

上帝僕之僕夙興而出、見軍旅車馬圍城、則曰、哀哉、我主歟、我儕將何為、曰、勿懼、偕我者較偕彼者尤眾、以利沙禱曰、耶和華歟、求爾啟其目、使之得見、耶和華啟少者之目、則見遍山火車火馬、環繞以利沙、敵軍既至、以利沙禱耶和華曰、祈使斯眾目瞶、耶和華即瞶其目、如以利沙之言、以利沙謂之曰、此非其途、亦非其邑、爾其從我、我導爾至所尋者、遂導之至撒瑪利亞、既入撒瑪利亞、以利沙曰、耶和華歟、啟斯眾之目、使之得見、耶和華啟其目、彼乃得見、知在撒瑪利亞邑中、

誰為瞽、非我僕乎、誰為聾、如我所遣之使乎、誰為瞽如我之同盟、誰為瞽如耶和華之僕乎、

眈眈者急於獲財、不知窮乏之將至、

蓋耶和華以沉睡之神注爾、閉爾之目、即先知也、蒙爾之首、即先見也、

維彼不知不思、其目障翳不見、其心蒙蔽不明、

如苟合、盜竊、兇殺、淫亂、貪婪、惡毒、詭騙、邪侈、妒嫉、訕謗、驕傲、狂悖、

日一厥心恆在於殿、又在家擘餅、以欣以誠而食、

我則任其剛愎厥心、依己所謀而行兮、

今主之手加諸爾、爾必瞽、暫不見日、巫之目即矇而暗、徧求人援引之、

使斯民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免以目視、耳聽、心悟、轉移而得醫焉、

使眾於門外、少長目眯、索門致倦、○

僕當畏懼戰慄、以忠心順爾形軀之主、如於基督然、
