“眼睛是身体的灯，所以，如果你的眼睛纯净，你的全身就光明；如果你的眼睛污浊，你的全身就黑暗。因此，光如果在你里面成了黑暗，那是多么大的黑暗！

求你开启我的眼睛，使我看出你律法中的奇妙。

可是我担心，恐怕你们的思想受到败坏，离开对基督的忠实和贞洁，就像蛇用它的诡计欺骗了夏娃那样。

对于他们，这世代的神把这些不信之人的心眼弄瞎了，使他们不能洞察基督荣耀的福音之光。基督就是神的形像。

愿我们主耶稣基督的神——荣耀的父，赐给你们智慧和启示的灵，使你们能真正地认识他。

为了开启他们的眼睛，使他们从黑暗归向光明，从撒旦的权势下归向神，使他们因着信我，罪得赦免，并且与那些被分别为圣的人同得继业。’

正如经上所记：“神给了他们昏迷的心灵、看不见的眼睛、听不见的耳朵，直到今天。”大卫也说：“让他们的筵席成为网罗、陷阱、绊脚石，又成为他们的报应。让他们的眼睛昏暗不能看。让他们的腰背永远弯曲。”

你们有眼睛却看不见，有耳朵却听不见吗？难道不记得吗？

你们做奴仆的，凡事都要顺从自己在世上的主人，不要只在人眼前服事，像是讨人的欢心，而要以忠实的心敬畏主。

这不法之人的到来，是出于撒旦的作为，对那些正在灭亡的人，使用一切能力、虚假的神迹和奇事，并且使用一切不义的诡计，因为他们不接受那能使他们得救的真理之爱。为此，神就把一种迷惑人的力量送进他们里面，使他们相信虚假之事，好使所有不相信真理而喜悦不义的人，都被定罪。

这是为要使‘他们看了又看，却不明白，听了又听，却不领悟，免得他们回转过来，就被赦免。’”

我们所夸耀的是这一点：我们的良心见证了我们在世上行事为人带着属神的忠实和真诚，不是靠属肉体的智慧，而是靠神的恩典；对你们更是如此。

除了我仆人以外，有谁是瞎眼的？有谁像我所派遣的使者那样是耳聋的？有谁像我所拣选的人那样是瞎眼的，有谁像耶和华的仆人那样是瞎眼的？

贪婪的人，急切要发财，但他不明白穷乏将临到他。

而是因为耶和华用沉睡的灵浇灌你们；他封闭了你们的眼睛，就是众先知；他蒙住了你们的头，就是众先见。

这样的人不明白，也不领悟，因为耶和华蒙蔽他们的眼使他们不能看见，蒙蔽他们的心使他们不能明悟。

通奸、贪心、恶意、欺诈、好色、嫉妒、毁谤、骄傲、愚妄，

他们同心合意，不但天天恒切地在圣殿聚集，还在各家各户掰饼。他们怀着喜乐和诚恳的心用饭，

我就任凭他们心里顽固，随自己的计谋而行。

看哪，现在主的手临到你，你要瞎眼，暂时看不见日光。”立刻，迷雾和黑暗笼罩了他，他四处摸索，求人牵手领路。

让这子民的心麻木，耳朵发沉，眼睛蒙蔽，免得他们眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里领悟，回转过来，就得痊愈。”

他们又击打屋门口的那些人，使他们无论老少都眼目失明，以致他们找不到门。

你们做奴仆的，要怀着敬畏和战兢，以忠实的心顺从自己在世上的主人，就像听从基督一样。
