示巴女王听见所罗门因耶和华之名所得的名声，就来要用难解的话试问所罗门。跟随她到耶路撒冷的人甚多，又有骆驼驮着香料、宝石，和许多金子。她来见了所罗门王，就把心里所有的对所罗门都说出来。所罗门王将她所问的都答上了，没有一句不明白、不能答的。示巴女王见所罗门大有智慧，和他所建造的宫室，席上的珍馐美味，群臣分列而坐，仆人两旁侍立，以及他们的衣服装饰和酒政的衣服装饰，又见他上耶和华殿的台阶，就诧异得神不守舍；对王说：“我在本国里所听见论到你的事和你的智慧实在是真的！我先不信那些话，及至我来亲眼见了才知道人所告诉我的还不到一半。你的智慧和你的福分越过我所听见的风声。你的臣子、你的仆人常侍立在你面前听你智慧的话是有福的！耶和华你的神是应当称颂的！他喜悦你，使你坐以色列的国位；因为他永远爱以色列，所以立你作王，使你秉公行义。”于是，示巴女王将一百二十他连得金子和宝石，与极多的香料，送给所罗门王。她送给王的香料，以后奉来的不再有这样多。希兰的船只从俄斐运了金子来，又从俄斐运了许多檀香木和宝石来。王用檀香木为耶和华殿和王宫做栏杆，又为歌唱的人做琴瑟。以后再没有这样的檀香木进国来，也没有人看见过，直到如今。示巴女王一切所要所求的，所罗门王都送给她，另外照自己的厚意馈送她。于是女王和她臣仆转回本国去了。

圣灵降临在他身上，形状仿佛鸽子；又有声音从天上来，说：“你是我的爱子，我喜悦你。”

因有一婴孩为我们而生，有一子赐给我们，政权必担在他的肩头上。他名称为奇妙、策士、全能的神、永在的父、和平的君。他的政权与平安必加增无穷。他必在大卫的宝座上治理他的国，以公平公义使国坚定稳固，从今直到永远。万军之耶和华的热心必成就这事。

挪亚因着信，既蒙神指示他未见的事，动了敬畏的心，预备了一只方舟，使他全家得救。因此就定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那从信而来的义。

耶和华对我说：“背道的以色列比奸诈的犹大还显为义。

而且那本来未受割礼的，若能全守律法，岂不是要审判你这有仪文和割礼竟犯律法的人吗？

凡为攻击你造成的器械必不利用；凡在审判时兴起用舌攻击你的，你必定他为有罪。这是耶和华仆人的产业，是他们从我所得的义。这是耶和华说的。”

爱子是那不能看见之神的像，是首生的，在一切被造的以先。因为万有都是靠他造的，无论是天上的，地上的；能看见的，不能看见的；或是有位的，主治的，执政的，掌权的；一概都是藉着他造的，又是为他造的。他在万有之先；万有也靠他而立。他也是教会全体之首。他是元始，是从死里首先复生的，使他可以在凡事上居首位。因为父喜欢叫一切的丰盛在他里面居住。

有声音从云彩里出来，说：“这是我的儿子，我所拣选的，你们要听他。”
