圣灵像鸽子一样降在祂身上，又有声音从天上传来：“你是我的爱子，我甚喜悦你。”

必有一个婴儿为我们诞生，有一个孩子要赐给我们，祂必统治我们。祂被称为奇妙的策士、全能的上帝、永存的父、和平的君。祂的国必长治久安。祂必坐在大卫的宝座上以公平和公义治国，使国家永固。万军之耶和华必热切地成就此事。

挪亚因为有信心，在上帝指示他未来要发生的事之后，就怀着敬畏的心建造方舟，来救全家的人。他借着信心定了那个世代的罪，并承受了因信而来的义。

耶和华对我说：“不忠贞的以色列比奸诈的犹大罪过还轻。

身体未受割礼却遵行律法的人，必审判你这有律法条文、受了割礼却违犯律法的人。

为攻击你而造的兵器必不能奏效，你必驳倒控告你的人。这是耶和华众仆人的产业，是我给他们的胜利。这是耶和华说的。”

基督是那不能看见之上帝的真像，超越一切受造之物。因为万物都是借着祂创造的，天上的、地上的、有形的、无形的、做王的、统治的、执政的、掌权的，一切都是借着祂也是为了祂而创造的。祂存在于万物之前，万物都靠祂而维系。祂是教会的头，教会是祂的身体；祂是源头，是首先从死里复活的，这样祂可以在一切事上居首位。因为上帝乐意让一切的丰盛住在祂里面，

云彩中有声音说：“这是我的儿子，是我拣选的，你们要听从祂！”
