又有試之者、求示以自天之異跡、

法利賽人出而詰耶穌、求示以自天之異跡、意欲試之、耶穌中心歎息曰、斯世何為求異跡、我誠告爾、必不以異跡示此世、

時有經士與法利賽數人謂耶穌曰、師、我願觀爾行異跡、答曰、姦惡之世求異跡、先知約拿異跡而外、不以異跡示之、約拿三日三夜在巨魚腹內、如是人子亦將三日三夜在地中、尼尼微人當審判時、將起而罪此世、因尼尼微人聽約拿所宣而悔改、而在此有大於約拿者、南方女王當審判時、將起而罪此世、因女王來自地極、欲聽所羅門之哲言、而在此有大於所羅門者、○

猶太人索異跡、希拉人求智慧、

時數萬人會集、自相擁擠、耶穌先謂門徒曰、當謹防法利賽人之酵、即偽善也、

耶穌曰、噫、悖逆不信之世歟、我偕爾忍爾至幾時乎、且攜爾子來此、

曰、爾行何異跡、使我見而信爾、爾果何行、

凡在此姦惡之世、恥我及我道者、迨人子以父之榮、偕聖天使降臨時、亦必恥其人、

猶太人謂之曰、爾既為此、以何異跡示我、

約翰見法利賽與撒度該教人、亦多就己受洗、謂之曰、蝮類乎、誰示爾避將來之怒乎、

有群眾與耶穌同行、耶穌顧之曰、人就我、若不愛我、勝於愛其父母、妻子、兄弟、姊妹、與己之生命、不得為我徒、

致創世以來、流先知之血、悉將討於此代、

言曰、爾強項、心不悟、耳不聰之人、恆逆聖神、爾祖如是、爾曹亦如是、有何先知而爾祖不窘逐之乎、預言義者將至之人、爾祖殺之、此義者、今爾已賣而殺之、

爾父即魔、爾曹由彼而出、爾喜行爾父之所欲、彼自始為殺人者、不立於真理、以其內無真理、彼言誑、乃由本性而言之、因彼為誑者、且為誑者之父也、

惟爾女巫之子、姦淫之人及妓女所生者、咸可來此、爾戲笑誰、向誰張口伸舌、爾皆悖逆之子類、詭詐之徒眾、

法利賽及撒度該人來試耶穌、請示以自天之異跡、耶穌曰、暮時爾云天必晴、因天紅也、朝時爾云今日必有風雨、因天紅而晦也、偽善者乎、爾能別天色、獨不能知此時之異跡乎、姦惡之世求異跡、先知約拿異跡之外、不以異跡示之、遂離之而去、○

是以我遣先知智人經士就爾、其中有爾所殺及釘十字架者、有爾所鞭於爾之會堂、由此邑窘逐至彼邑者、致地上流義人之血、皆歸於爾、即自義人亞伯之血、至爾所殺於殿及祭臺間巴拉迦子撒迦利亞之血也、我誠告爾、此事皆必歸於斯代、
