“ When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says,‘ I will return to my house from which I came.’

邪魔離人、游行旱地、求安而不得、乃曰、不如我仍歸所出之室、

邪魔既離人身、徘徊於無水之地、欲求安身之所而不可得、乃曰：「吾將返吾故宅。」

The unclean spirit when he is gone out of the man, passeth through waterless places, seeking rest, and finding none, he saith, I will turn back unto my house whence I came out.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.

And the Lord said to Satan,“ From where do you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it,“ Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”

Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.

“ There is no peace,” says the Lord,“ for the wicked.”

in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring;

The parched ground shall become a pool, And the thirsty land springs of water; In the habitation of jackals, where each lay, There shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

“ The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, Their tongues fail for thirst. I, the Lord, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.I will open rivers in desolate heights, And fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry land springs of water.I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree, The myrtle and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine And the box tree together,

The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, The excellency of our God.

But the wicked are like the troubled sea, When it cannot rest, Whose waters cast up mire and dirt.“ There is no peace,” Says my God,“ for the wicked.”

look, I shall put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor; if there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that You will save Israel by my hand, as You have said.”And it was so. When he rose early the next morning and squeezed the fleece together, he wrung the dew out of the fleece, a bowlful of water.Then Gideon said to God,“ Do not be angry with me, but let me speak just once more: Let me test, I pray, just once more with the fleece; let it now be dry only on the fleece, but on all the ground let there be dew.”And God did so that night. It was dry on the fleece only, but there was dew on all the ground.

For they do not sleep unless they have done evil; And their sleep is taken away unless they make someone fall.

Then he said to me:“ This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed.And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi to En Eglaim; they will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many.But its swamps and marshes will not be healed; they will be given over to salt.
