邪鬼既出其人、遊行旱地、求安不得、曰、我將返我所出之室、

邪神離人、遊行旱地、求安不得、曰、我將歸所出之室、

邪魔離人、游行旱地、求安而不得、乃曰、不如我仍歸所出之室、

邪魔既離人身、徘徊於無水之地、欲求安身之所而不可得、乃曰：「吾將返吾故宅。」

“ When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says,‘ I will return to the house I left.’

“ What happens when an evil spirit comes out of a person? It goes through dry areas looking for a place to rest. But it doesn’t find it. Then it says,‘ I will return to the house I left.’

“ When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and finding none it says,‘ I will return to my house from which I came.’

“ When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, searching for rest. But when it finds none, it says,‘ I will return to the person I came from.’

“ When an unclean spirit comes out of a person, it roams through waterless places looking for rest, and not finding rest, it then says,‘ I’ll go back to my house that I came from.’

“ When the unclean spirit comes out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding any, it then says,‘ I will return to my house from which I came.’

“ When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says,‘ I will return to my house from which I came.’

The unclean spirit when he is gone out of the man, passeth through waterless places, seeking rest, and finding none, he saith, I will turn back unto my house whence I came out.

你們要謹慎，要警醒。你們的仇敵魔鬼就像咆哮的獅子走來走去，尋找可吞吃的人。

「有個汙靈從一個人身上出來以後，走遍無水之地，尋找安歇的地方，卻找不到，就說：『我要回到我離開的那屋裡去。』於是它回去，發現那裡空著，已被打掃乾淨，擺設整齊，就去帶了另外七個比自己更邪惡的靈，進去住在那裡。那個人最後的情況就比先前更壞了。這邪惡的世代也將是這樣。」

神哪，你是我的神，我切切尋求你！在乾旱、疲乏、無水之地，我的靈魂渴想你，我的肉體渴盼你。

耶穌看見眾人都跑上來，就斥責那汙靈，說：「你這聾啞的邪靈，我命令你：從他裡面出來，不可再進去！」

他一再央求耶穌不要把它們趕出那個地方。

耶和華說：「惡人必沒有平安。」

在其中，你們從前行事為人，是順著這世界的潮流，順著那空中勢力的掌權者，就是現今在那些不信從的兒女裡面做工的靈。

因為我要用水澆灌乾渴之處，用河流澆灌乾旱之地；我要把我的靈澆灌在你的後裔身上，把我的祝福澆灌在你的子孫身上。

灼熱的沙地將成為池塘，乾涸之地將成為水泉；豺狗躺臥的巢，鴕鳥的窩都將變為蘆葦和蒲草。

那些困苦和貧窮的人尋找水，卻沒有水；他們的舌頭因乾渴而焦燥；我耶和華必回應他們，以色列的神必不離棄他們。我要在光禿的高地開江河，在山谷開泉源；我要使曠野成為水池，使乾旱之地成為水源。我要在曠野種上香柏樹、金合歡樹、桃金娘樹和橄欖樹，我要在荒漠把松樹、杉樹和黃楊樹一同栽上——

曠野和乾旱之地必歡喜；荒漠必快樂，如番紅花綻放，大大綻放，大大快樂，並且歡呼；它必被賜予黎巴嫩的榮耀，迦密和莎倫的威榮；人們必看見耶和華的榮耀，我們神的威榮。

惡人卻像翻湧的海——不能平靜，其中的水翻湧出泥漿和淤泥。我的神說：「惡人必不得平安。」

要知道，這些人如果不作惡就睡不著覺，不絆倒人就睡臥不安；
