But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up his plunder.

勇士的擄物能被奪回嗎？強橫者的俘虜能被救出嗎？然而耶和華如此說：「就算是勇士的俘虜，也必被奪回；強橫者的擄物，也必被救出。與你爭鬥的，我必親自與他爭鬥；至於你的兒女，我必親自拯救。

我要把仇恨放在你和女人之間，放在你的後裔和女人的後裔之間；女人的後裔要重創你的頭，而你要重創他的腳跟。」

孩子們哪，你們屬於神，而且你們已經勝過了假先知們，因為那在你們裡面的，比那在世界上的更大。

繼續犯罪的人屬於魔鬼，因為魔鬼從起初就一直犯罪。為此，神的兒子顯現了，是為了廢除魔鬼的作為。

到那日，耶和華必用他嚴酷、巨大、有力的刀，懲罰利維亞坦，就是那逃竄的蛇；懲罰利維亞坦，就是那蜷曲的蛇；並且殺死海中的巨獸。

這從以東的波斯拉而來，穿深紅色衣服的是誰呢？這衣著尊貴，以強大能力前行的是誰呢？「就是我，是我藉著公義說話，以大能施行拯救。」你的衣著為什麼赤紅呢？你的衣服為什麼像榨酒池中踹酒之人的呢？「我獨自踹酒槽，萬民中沒有一人與我在一起。我在怒氣中踹他們，在怒火中踩踏他們；他們的血水濺在我的衣服上，我把全身的衣服都染汙了；因為報復之日已在我心中，我的救贖之年已經來到。

神既然剝奪了那些統治者和掌權者的權勢，就公開羞辱他們；藉著基督向他們誇勝了。

接著，我看見一位天使從天上降下來，手裡拿著無底坑的鑰匙和一條大鎖鏈。他抓住了龍——那古蛇，就是魔鬼撒旦，把牠捆綁了一千年。這位天使把牠丟進無底坑裡，關上了無底坑，並用印封上，使牠不能再迷惑列國，直到那一千年完結。這些事以後，牠必須暫時被釋放。
