But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up his plunder.

被搶去的怎能從勇士手中奪回呢？被俘虜的怎能從強暴者（按照《馬索拉文本》，“強暴者”作“義者”；現參照《死海古卷》和其他古譯本翻譯）的手裡救出來呢？但耶和華這樣說：“就是勇士所俘擄的，也可以奪回，強暴者所搶去的，也可以救出來；與你相爭的，我必與他們相爭；你的兒女，我卻要拯救。

我要使你和女人彼此為仇，你的後裔和女人的後裔，也彼此為仇，他要傷你的頭，你要傷他的腳跟。”

孩子們，你們是屬於神的，並且已經勝過他們，因為那在你們裡面的比那在世上的更大。

犯罪的是出於魔鬼，因為魔鬼從起初就犯罪。因此，神的兒子顯現了，是要除滅魔鬼的作為。

到那日，耶和華要施用他銳利、巨大和有力的刀，懲罰鱷魚，就是那快行的蛇；懲罰鱷魚，就是那曲行的蛇；並且要殺海中的大龍。

那從以東、從波斯拉而來，身穿赤紅色的衣服，裝扮華麗、能力強大、大步前行的，是誰呢？“就是我，是憑著公義說話，有大能拯救的。”你的服裝為甚麼有紅色的呢？你的衣服為甚麼像個踹壓酒池的人的衣服一樣呢？“我獨自踹酒槽；萬民之中沒有一人與我同在；我在忿怒中把他們踹下，在烈怒中把他們踐踏；他們的血濺在我的衣服上，我把我所有的衣裳都染污了。因為報仇的日子早已在我的心裡，我救贖的年日早已經來到。

他既然靠著十字架勝過了一切執政掌權的，廢除了他們的權勢，就在凱旋的行列中，把他們公開示眾。

我又看見一位天使從天上降下來，手裡拿著無底坑的鑰匙和一條大鎖鍊。他捉住了那龍，那古蛇，就是魔鬼，撒但，把牠捆綁了一千年。天使把牠拋在無底坑裡，關起來，封上印，使牠不能再迷惑列國，等到那一千年完了。以後，必須暫時釋放牠。
