如果撒旦驱赶撒旦，就是自相纷争，它的国怎么能站立得住呢？

为此，我告诉你们：人一切的罪和亵渎的话都能被赦免，但亵渎圣灵却不能被赦免。凡是说话抵挡人子的，还能被赦免；但如果有人说话抵挡圣灵，无论在这世代，或在将要来的世代，都不能被赦免。“你们让一棵树好，它的果子就好；你们让一棵树坏，它的果子就坏；这样，一棵树是凭着果子被认出来。你们这些毒蛇的子孙！你们做为恶人，怎么能说出善的来呢？因为心里所充满的，口里就说出来。

耶稣对他说：“撒旦，退去！因为经上记着：‘要敬拜主——你的神，唯独事奉他。’”

但其中有些人却说：“他是靠鬼魔的王别西卜驱赶鬼魔的。”

照样，舌头虽然是身体上一个小小的部分，却能大大地自夸。看哪，那么小的火，能点燃那么大的森林！舌头是火，它在我们身体的各部分中，是个不公义的世界；它玷污全身，焚烧人生的路程，而且自己却被地狱焚烧。原来，各类野兽、飞禽、爬行动物和水族都能被制伏，也已经被人类制伏了，可是没有人能制伏舌头；它是不止息的邪恶，充满着致死的毒。
