Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them:“ Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.

Jesus knew what they were thinking. So he said to them,“ Any kingdom that fights against itself will be destroyed. A family that is divided against itself will fall.

But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them,“ Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and a divided household falls.

He knew their thoughts, so he said,“ Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A family splintered by feuding will fall apart.

耶穌叫他們來，用比喻對他們說：「撒但怎能趕出撒但呢？若一國自相紛爭，那國就站立不住；若一家自相紛爭，那家就站立不住。若撒但自相攻打紛爭，他就站立不住，必要滅亡。沒有人能進壯士家裏，搶奪他的家具；必先捆住那壯士，才可以搶奪他的家。

耶穌知道他們的心意，就說：「你們為甚麼心裏懷着惡念呢？

我必激動埃及人攻擊埃及人－弟兄攻擊弟兄，鄰舍攻擊鄰舍；這城攻擊那城，這國攻擊那國。埃及人的心神必在裏面耗盡；我必敗壞他們的謀略。他們必求問偶像和念咒的、交鬼的、行巫術的。

耶穌知道他們的意念，就對他們說：「凡一國自相紛爭，就成為荒場；一城一家自相紛爭，必站立不住；若撒但趕逐撒但，就是自相紛爭，他的國怎能站得住呢？我若靠着別西卜趕鬼，你們的子弟趕鬼又靠着誰呢？這樣，他們就要斷定你們的是非。我若靠着神的靈趕鬼，這就是神的國臨到你們了。人怎能進壯士家裏，搶奪他的家具呢？除非先捆住那壯士，才可以搶奪他的家財。

以色列人在猶大人面前逃跑，神將他們交在猶大人手裏。亞比雅和他的軍兵大大殺戮以色列人，以色列人仆倒死亡的精兵有五十萬。

以色列眾民見王不依從他們，就對王說：我們與大衛有甚麼分兒呢？與耶西的兒子並沒有關涉！以色列人哪，各回各家去吧！大衛家啊，自己顧自己吧！於是，以色列眾人都回自己家裏去了。惟獨住在猶大城邑的以色列人，羅波安仍作他們的王。羅波安王差遣掌管服苦之人的哈多蘭往以色列人那裏去，以色列人就用石頭打死他。羅波安王急忙上車，逃回耶路撒冷去了。這樣，以色列人背叛大衛家，直到今日。

有人右邊搶奪，仍受飢餓，左邊吞吃，仍不飽足；各人吃自己膀臂上的肉。瑪拿西吞吃以法蓮；以法蓮吞吃瑪拿西，又一同攻擊猶大。雖然如此，耶和華的怒氣還未轉消；他的手仍伸不縮。

我又要殺死她的黨類，叫眾教會知道，我是那察看人肺腑心腸的，並要照你們的行為報應你們各人。

也用不着誰見證人怎樣，因他知道人心裏所存的。
