But some of them said,“ By Beelzebul, the prince of demons, he is driving out demons.”

但其中有些人却说：“他是靠鬼魔的王别西卜驱赶鬼魔的。”

內中卻有人說：「他是靠着鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

其中卻有人說：「他是靠着鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

其中卻有人說：「他是靠着鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

有人卻說：「祂是靠鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

有人說：“他靠鬼王別西卜趕鬼。”

但他們中間卻有人說：『他趕鬼是靠着鬼王別西卜趕的。』

但其中有些人卻說：「他是靠鬼魔的王別西卜驅趕鬼魔的。」

中有數人曰、彼藉鬼王別西卜逐鬼耳、

有數人曰、彼藉鬼王別西卜以逐鬼耳、

中有數人曰、彼逐魔、無非賴魔王別西卜耳、

惟有人則曰：『彼之袪鬼、乃恃魔王白責布爾之力也。』

But some of them said,“ Jesus is driving out demons by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons.”

But some of them said,“ He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of demons,”

but some of them said,“ No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.”

But some of them said,“ He drives out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.”

But some of them said,“ He casts out the demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.”

But some of them said,“ He casts out demons by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

But some of them said, By Beelzebub the prince of the demons casteth he out demons.

But some of them said,“ He drives out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons!”

But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

But some of them said,“ By the power of Beelzebul, the ruler of demons, he casts out demons.”

But some of them said,“ He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons.”

But the Pharisees said,“ It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”

And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said,“ He is possessed by Beelzebul! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables:“ How can Satan drive out Satan?If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter,but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”He said this because they were saying,“ He has an impure spirit.”

The Jews answered him,“ Aren’t we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?”

But when the Pharisees heard this, they said,“ It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.”Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them,“ Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand?And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.“ Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house.“ Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

At this they exclaimed,“ Now we know that you are demon- possessed! Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that whoever obeys your word will never taste death.

Many of them said,“ He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?”

It is enough for students to be like their teachers, and servants like their masters. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household!

If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebul.Now if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.

“ You are demon-possessed,” the crowd answered.“ Who is trying to kill you?”
