但其中有些人却说：“他是靠鬼魔的王别西卜驱赶鬼魔的。”

內中卻有人說：「他是靠着鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

其中卻有人說：「他是靠着鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

其中卻有人說：「他是靠着鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

有人卻說：「祂是靠鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

有人說：“他靠鬼王別西卜趕鬼。”

但他們中間卻有人說：『他趕鬼是靠着鬼王別西卜趕的。』

但其中有些人卻說：「他是靠鬼魔的王別西卜驅趕鬼魔的。」

中有數人曰、彼藉鬼王別西卜逐鬼耳、

有數人曰、彼藉鬼王別西卜以逐鬼耳、

中有數人曰、彼逐魔、無非賴魔王別西卜耳、

惟有人則曰：『彼之袪鬼、乃恃魔王白責布爾之力也。』

But some of them said,“ By Beelzebul, the prince of demons, he is driving out demons.”

But some of them said,“ He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of demons,”

but some of them said,“ No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.”

But some of them said,“ He drives out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.”

But some of them said,“ He casts out the demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.”

But some of them said,“ He casts out demons by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

But some of them said, By Beelzebub the prince of the demons casteth he out demons.

But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

But some of them said,“ By the power of Beelzebul, the ruler of demons, he casts out demons.”

But the Pharisees said,“ He drives out demons by the power of the prince of demons.”

Some teachers of the law were there. They had come down from Jerusalem. They said,“ He is controlled by Beelzebul! He is driving out demons by the power of the prince of demons.”So Jesus called them over to him. He began to speak to them using stories. He said,“ How can Satan drive out Satan?If a kingdom fights against itself, it can’t stand.If a family is divided, it can’t stand.And if Satan fights against himself, and his helpers are divided, he can’t stand. That is the end of him.In fact, none of you can enter a strong man’s house unless you tie him up first. Then you can steal things from his house.What I’m about to tell you is true. Everyone’s sins and evil words against God will be forgiven.But whoever speaks evil things against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. Their guilt will last forever.”Jesus said this because the teachers of the law were saying,“ He has an evil spirit.”

The Jews answered Jesus,“ Aren’t we right when we say you are a Samaritan? Aren’t you controlled by a demon?”

The Pharisees heard this. So they said,“ This fellow drives out demons by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons.”Jesus knew what they were thinking. So he said to them,“ Every kingdom that fights against itself will be destroyed. Every city or family that is divided against itself will not stand.If Satan drives out Satan, he fights against himself. Then how can his kingdom stand?You say I drive out demons by the power of Beelzebul. Then by whose power do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.But suppose I drive out demons by the Spirit of God. Then the kingdom of God has come to you.“ Or think about this. How can you enter a strong man’s house and just take what the man owns? You must first tie him up. Then you can rob his house.“ Anyone who is not with me is against me. Anyone who does not gather sheep with me scatters them.

Then they cried out,“ Now we know you are controlled by a demon! Abraham died. So did the prophets. But you say that whoever obeys your word will never die.

Many of them said,“ He is controlled by a demon. He has gone crazy! Why should we listen to him?”

It is enough for students to be like their teachers. And it is enough for slaves to be like their masters. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebul, what can the others who live there expect?

If Satan fights against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because of what you claim. You say I drive out demons by the power of Beelzebul.Suppose I do drive out demons with Beelzebul’s help. With whose help do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.

“ You are controlled by demons,” the crowd answered.“ Who is trying to kill you?”
