But some of them said,“ By the power of Beelzebul, the ruler of demons, he casts out demons.”

有人说：“他靠鬼王别西卜赶鬼。”

但其中有些人却说：“他是靠鬼魔的王别西卜驱赶鬼魔的。”

內中卻有人說：「他是靠着鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

其中卻有人說：「他是靠着鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

其中卻有人說：「他是靠着鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

有人卻說：「祂是靠鬼王別西卜趕鬼。」

有人說：“他靠鬼王別西卜趕鬼。”

但他們中間卻有人說：『他趕鬼是靠着鬼王別西卜趕的。』

但其中有些人卻說：「他是靠鬼魔的王別西卜驅趕鬼魔的。」

中有數人曰、彼藉鬼王別西卜逐鬼耳、

有數人曰、彼藉鬼王別西卜以逐鬼耳、

中有數人曰、彼逐魔、無非賴魔王別西卜耳、

惟有人則曰：『彼之袪鬼、乃恃魔王白責布爾之力也。』

But some of them said,“ By Beelzebul, the prince of demons, he is driving out demons.”

But some of them said,“ Jesus is driving out demons by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons.”

But some of them said,“ He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of demons,”

but some of them said,“ No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.”

But some of them said,“ He drives out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.”

But some of them said,“ He casts out the demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.”

But some of them said,“ He casts out demons by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

But some of them said, By Beelzebub the prince of the demons casteth he out demons.

But some of them said,“ He drives out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons!”

But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

But some of them said,“ He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons.”

But the Pharisees said,“ By the ruler of demons he casts out demons.”

The experts in the law who came down from Jerusalem said,“ He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and,“ By the ruler of demons he casts out demons.”So he called them and spoke to them in parables:“ How can Satan cast out Satan?If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom will not be able to stand.If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.And if Satan rises against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand and his end has come.But no one is able to enter a strong man’s house and steal his property unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can thoroughly plunder his house.I tell you the truth, people will be forgiven for all sins, even all the blasphemies they utter.But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin”( because they said,“ He has an unclean spirit”).

The Judeans replied,“ Aren’t we correct in saying that you are a Samaritan and are possessed by a demon?”

But when the Pharisees heard this they said,“ He does not cast out demons except by the power of Beelzebul, the ruler of demons!”Now when Jesus realized what they were thinking, he said to them,“ Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, and no town or house divided against itself will stand.So if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason they will be your judges.But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has already overtaken you.How else can someone enter a strong man’s house and steal his property, unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can thoroughly plunder the house.Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

Then the Judeans responded,“ Now we know you’re possessed by a demon! Both Abraham and the prophets died, and yet you say,‘ If anyone obeys my teaching, he will never experience death.’

Many of them were saying,“ He is possessed by a demon and has lost his mind! Why do you listen to him?”

It is enough for the disciple to become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house‘ Beelzebul,’ how much more will they defame the members of his household!

So if Satan too is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? I ask you this because you claim that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.Now if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.

The crowd answered,“ You’re possessed by a demon! Who is trying to kill you?”
