所以，如果你們做為惡人也知道把好的東西給自己的兒女，更何況天上的父要賜聖靈給求他的人呢！」

夫以爾等罪人、尚知以嘉惠賜爾兒女；況在爾之天父、有不更以聖神賦予求之者乎！』

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

爾曹雖不善、尚知以嘉物予子、況爾在天之父、豈不以嘉物予求之者乎、

蓋我必注水於渴者、濬川於燥土、注我神於爾苗裔、降福祉於爾子孫、彼將滋生於草中、若溪濱之柳、

耶穌曰、爾若知上帝之賜、及語爾飲我者為誰、爾必求之、則以活水予爾、

我加斥責、爾當回轉、我將以我靈注爾、以我言示爾、

彼得曰、爾宜改悔、各以耶穌基督之名受洗、俾罪得赦、且將受聖神之賜焉、

彼不惜己子、為我眾舍之、豈不並以萬物賜我歟、

於節之末日、即大日也、耶穌立而呼曰、人若渴、宜就我飲、信我者、如經所言、將有活水之川、由其腹而流焉、耶穌此言、指信之者將受之聖神、蓋聖神尚未降、因耶穌未榮也、

以我神賦於爾衷、使爾循我典章、守我律例、而遵行之、

耶穌曰、我誠語汝、人非由水與聖神而生、不能入上帝國、由肉而生者、肉也、由神而生者、神也、

夫婦豈能忘哺乳之嬰、不慈所妊之子、彼或忘之、我不忘爾、

厥後、我將以我神、注於凡有血氣者、爾之子女將預言、爾之老者將得夢、爾之幼者見異象、

若致罪之役既榮、則致義之役益榮矣、昔為榮者不足榮、因有超越之榮故耳、蓋暫存者若榮、則永存者更榮矣、○

則可為爾天父之子、蓋天父使日照於善不善、雨降於義不義者也、

此皆異邦人所求、爾天父知爾悉需之、

今既因其血見義、不更由之得救免怒乎、蓋我儕尚為敵時、由其子之死、得復和於上帝、既已復和、更必於其生得救矣、

如是、爾之光亦當照乎人前、俾人見爾善行、榮爾在天之父焉、○

且我生身之父懲我、我尚敬之、況諸神之父、不更宜服之以得生乎、彼乃暫依己意而懲、惟此則為我之益、使我與其聖也、

夫野草今日尚存、明日投爐、上帝猶衣之若此、況於爾小信者乎、

蓋爾免人過、天父亦免爾過、

惟爾此子、狎妓盡耗爾產、彼至、乃為之宰肥犢也、父曰、子乎、爾常偕我、我所有者、皆為爾有、惟爾弟死而復生、亡而復得、我儕喜樂宜也、

耶穌曰、爾曹祈禱、宜云、父歟、願爾名聖、爾國臨格、

耶和華聞其馨香、意謂人自幼時、衷懷邪慝、嗣後我不緣之詛地、不復殄滅生物、如前所為、

若以一人之愆、致死乘權、則受洪恩及義之賜者、更由一人耶穌基督而乘權於生矣、

蓋我知我形軀中無善、雖志於善、而未能行也、

世人維何、能為潔乎、婦所生者維何、得稱義乎、夫上帝不恃其聖者、在其目中、穹蒼猶為不潔、況污穢可憎、飲惡如水之人乎、

我生於愆尤、在母妊中、即負罪兮、

耶和華鑒觀世人、罪惡貫盈、心所圖維、恆為邪慝、乃悔造人於地、心焉憂之、

蓋我儕素亦無知、悖逆、迷惑、役於情慾佚樂、以狠毒媢嫉度生、見惡於人、亦彼此相惡、
