He said to another,“ Follow me!” But he said,“ Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”But Jesus said to him,“ Leave the dead to bury their own dead, but you go and announce God’s Kingdom.”

Food was set before him to eat, but he said,“ I will not eat until I have told my message.” Laban said,“ Speak on.”

David said to Ahimelech,“ Isn’t there here under your hand spear or sword? For I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with me, because the king’s business required haste.”

Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you.

He said to them,“ Don’t hinder me, since Yahweh has prospered my way. Send me away that I may go to my master.”

He commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only: no bread, no wallet, no money in their purse,but to wear sandals, and not put on two tunics.He said to them,“ Wherever you enter into a house, stay there until you depart from there.Whoever will not receive you nor hear you, as you depart from there, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony against them. Assuredly, I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”

Then she saddled a donkey, and said to her servant,“ Drive, and go forward! Don’t slow down for me, unless I ask you to.”
