你要以全心、全灵、全意、全力爱主——你的神。’“其次就是‘要爱邻如己。’没有别的诫命比这两条更大的了。”

耶稣对他说：“‘你要以全心、全灵、全意爱主——你的神’，这是最大的，也是最重要的诫命。其次的也和它类似，‘要爱邻如己。’全部律法和先知书都是以这两条诫命为依据的。”

这是因为，那“不可通奸，不可杀人，不可偷窃，不可贪心”的诫命，或是别的什么诫命，都包含在“要爱邻如己”这一句话里了。

不过，你们如果照着经上那条至尊的律法“要爱邻如己”完全实行，你们就做得很好了。

以全心、全智、全力来爱神，并且要爱邻如己，这是比所有的燔祭和各种祭祀都重要的。”耶稣见他回答得有智慧，就对他说：“你离神的国不远了。”于是，没有人敢再质问耶稣了。

孩子们哪，让我们不在语言或口头上相爱，而在行为和真理中相爱，

要孝敬父母、要爱邻如己。”

主又说，在那些日子以后，我要与以色列家订立这样的约：我要把我的法则放在他们的意念中，刻在他们的心上；我将要做他们的神，他们将要做我的子民。

弟兄们，你们蒙召是为了得自由，只是不可用这自由给肉体一个机会，而是要藉着爱彼此服事，
