Do you not say,‘ There are still four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields, that they are white for harvest.Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for eternal life, so that the one who sows and the one who reaps may rejoice together.For in this case the saying is true:‘ One sows and another reaps.’I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have come into their labor.”

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.Now the one who plants and the one who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.

Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it was also with you;

But we ask you, brothers and sisters, to recognize those who diligently labor among you and are in leadership over you in the Lord, and give you instruction,

It is like a man away on a journey, who upon leaving his house and putting his slaves in charge, assigning to each one his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay alert.

But as for you, use self restraint in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Take pains with these things; be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all.Pay close attention to yourself and to the teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

And He said to them,“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have set our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all mankind, especially of believers.

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

So then those who were scattered because of the persecution that occurred in connection with Stephen made their way to Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews alone.

“ Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you knowledge and understanding.

Therefore, those who had been scattered went through places preaching the word.

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.Therefore it says,“ When He ascended on high, He led captive the captives, And He gave gifts to people.”( Now this expression,“ He ascended,” what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth?He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.)And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers,for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ;

Woe to the worthless shepherd Who abandons the flock! A sword will be on his arm And on his right eye! His arm will be totally withered, And his right eye will be blind.”

Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him.And if someone likewise competes as an athlete, he is not crowned as victor unless he competes according to the rules.The hard working farmer ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops.

And He said to me,‘ Go! For I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’ ”

For they all seek after their own interests, not those of Christ Jesus.

Then I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take away some of the Spirit who is upon you, and put Him upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you will not bear it by yourself.

Now He called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all the demons, and the power to heal diseases.

For you recall, brothers and sisters, our labor and hardship: it was by working night and day so as not to be a burden to any of you, that we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.

And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, and various kinds of tongues.

Then Elijah said to the people,“ I alone am left as a prophet of the Lord, while Baal’s prophets are 450 men.

but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house— whose house we are, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the boast of our hope.

But Moses said to him,“ Are you jealous for my sake? If only all the Lord’s people were prophets, that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!”

“ For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.

The Lord gives the command; The women who proclaim good news are a great army:

And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain—

Those who buy them slaughter them and go unpunished, and each of those who sell them says,‘ Blessed be the Lord, for I have become rich!’ And their own shepherds have no compassion for them.

Epaphras, who is one of your own, a bond servant of Christ Jesus, sends you his greetings, always striving earnestly for you in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

The elders who lead well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.For the Scripture says,“ You shall not muzzle the ox while it is threshing,” and“ The laborer is worthy of his wages.”

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing and pleading with him, and saying,“ Come over to Macedonia and help us.”When he had seen the vision, we immediately sought to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

And I said,‘ Who are You, Lord?’ And the Lord said,‘ I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.But get up and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you as a servant and a witness not only to the things in which you have seen Me, but also to the things in which I will appear to you,rescuing you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you,to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’

But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, who is also your messenger and minister to my need,

So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia and from there they sailed to Cyprus.

All you wild animals, All you animals in the forest, Come to eat.His watchmen are blind, All of them know nothing. All of them are mute dogs unable to bark, Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber;And the dogs are greedy, they are never satisfied. And they are shepherds who have no understanding; They have all turned to their own way, Each one to his unjust gain, without exception.“ Come,” they say,“ let’s get wine, and let’s drink heavily of intoxicating drink; And tomorrow will be like today, only more so.”

While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,“ Set Barnabas and Saul apart for Me for the work to which I have called them.”

And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.]][[ And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself also sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation.]]

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service,even though I was previously a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief;and the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus.

So the king of Israel assembled the prophets, about four hundred men, and said to them,“ Should I go to battle against Ramoth gilead or should I refrain?” And they said,“ Go up, for the Lord will hand it over to the king.”But Jehoshaphat said,“ Is there no longer a prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of him?”And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man by whom we may inquire of the Lord, but I hate him, because he does not prophesy anything good regarding me, but only bad. He is Micaiah the son of Imlah.” But Jehoshaphat said,“ May the king not say so.”

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to those shepherds,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should the shepherds not feed the flock?You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat sheep without feeding the flock.Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you searched for the lost; but with force and with violence you have dominated them.They scattered for lack of a shepherd, and they became food for every animal of the field and scattered.My flock strayed through all the mountains and on every high hill; My flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth, and there was no one to search or seek for them.” ’ ”

Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our beloved brother and fellow worker,

because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to compensate for your absence in your service to me.

Leave out the courtyard which is outside the temple and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations; and they will trample the holy city for forty two months.And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

For this purpose I also labor, striving according to His power which works mightily within me.

“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands, says this:
