Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white already unto harvest.He that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal; that he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.For herein is the saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.I sent you to reap that whereon ye have not labored: others have labored, and ye are entered into their labor.

I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.For we are God’s fellow- workers: ye are God’s husbandry, God’s building.

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run and be glorified, even as also it is with you;

But we beseech you, brethren, to know them that labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

It is as when a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch.

But be thou sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil thy ministry.

Be diligent in these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy progress may be manifest unto all.Take heed to thyself, and to thy teaching. Continue in these things; for in doing this thou shalt save both thyself and them that hear thee.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.

For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of them that believe.

Take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit hath made you bishops, to feed the church of the Lord which he purchased with his own blood.

They therefore that were scattered abroad upon the tribulation that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phoenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to none save only to Jews.

And I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

But unto each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men.( Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth?He that descended is the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:

Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.No soldier on service entangleth himself in the affairs of this life; that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.And if also a man contend in the games, he is not crowned, except he have contended lawfully.The husbandman that laboreth must be the first to partake of the fruits.

And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee forth far hence unto the Gentiles.

For they all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.

And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the Spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.

And he called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

For ye remember, brethren, our labor and travail: working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.

And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, divers kinds of tongues.

Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, am left a prophet of Jehovah; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men.

but Christ as a son, over his house; whose house are we, if we hold fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope firm unto the end.

And Moses said unto him, Art thou jealous for my sake? would that all Jehovah’s people were prophets, that Jehovah would put his Spirit upon them!

For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that was a householder, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard.

The Lord giveth the word: The women that publish the tidings are a great host.

And working together with him we entreat also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain

whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty; and they that sell them say, Blessed be Jehovah, for I am rich; and their own shepherds pity them not.

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, saluteth you, always striving for you in his prayers, that ye may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching.For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn. And, The laborer is worthy of his hire.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: There was a man of Macedonia standing, beseeching him, and saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.And when he had seen the vision, straightway we sought to go forth into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel unto them.

And I said, Who art thou, Lord? But I counted it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow- worker and fellow- soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need;

So they, being sent forth by the Holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.His watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.Yea, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds that cannot understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to- morrow shall be as this day, a day great beyond measure.

And as they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

I thank him that enabled me, even Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he counted me faithful, appointing me to his service;though I was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: howbeit I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief;and the grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramoth- gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of Jehovah besides, that we may inquire of him?And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of Jehovah, Micaiah the son of Imlah: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, even to the shepherds, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe unto the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the sheep?Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill the fatlings; but ye feed not the sheep.The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought back that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor have ye ruled over them.And they were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the beasts of the field, and were scattered.My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my sheep were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and there was none that did search or seek after them.

And the court which is without the temple leave without, and measure it not; for it hath been given unto the nations: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

whereunto I labor also, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
