運臂耀神德、傲慢頓粉潰；

He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.

He has done mighty things with his powerful arm. He has scattered those who are proud in their deepest thoughts.

He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts;

His mighty arm has done tremendous things! He has scattered the proud and haughty ones.

He has done a mighty deed with his arm; he has scattered the proud because of the thoughts of their hearts;

He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their hearts.

O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old.[ Art] thou not it that hath cut Rahab,[ and] wounded the dragon?

The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works[ are] truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let[ not] arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD[ is] a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.The bows of the mighty men[ are] broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified[ him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

That led[ them] by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?

The voice of rejoicing and salvation[ is] in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong[ hand], and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward[ is] with him, and his work before him.

The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.Who[ is] like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who[ is] like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful[ in] praises, doing wonders?Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people[ which] thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided[ them] in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath,[ which] consumed them as stubble.

Wherefore it shall come to pass,[ that] when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done[ it], and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant[ man]:And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs[ that are] left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith?[ or] shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake[ itself] against them that lift it up,[ or] as if the staff should lift up[ itself, as if it were] no wood.Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.

Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand,[ and] high is thy right hand.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed,[ saying],Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

We have heard the pride of Moab,( he is exceeding proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.I know his wrath, saith the LORD; but[ it shall] not[ be] so; his lies shall not so effect[ it].

Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?Deck thyself now[ with] majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one[ that is] proud, and abase him.Look on every one[ that is] proud,[ and] bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all[ of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Now I know that the LORD[ is] greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly[ he was] above them.

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man[ was] great in the earth, and[ that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart[ was] only evil continually.

I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done[ it]: and I will wait on thy name; for[ it is] good before thy saints.

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong[ is] the Lord God who judgeth her.

My soul shall be satisfied as[ with] marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise[ thee] with joyful lips:

And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart[ is] evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

And this[ is] the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.This[ is] the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and[ put] a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.And Darius the Median took the kingdom,[ being] about threescore and two years old.

Or hath God assayed to go[ and] take him a nation from the midst of[ another] nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
