And John tried to prevent Him, saying,“ I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?”

Now David himself said in the Book of Psalms:‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at My right hand,Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’Therefore David calls Him‘ Lord’; how is He then his Son?”

Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.

So she fell on her face, bowed down to the ground, and said to him,“ Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?”
