天使曰、聖神將臨爾、至上者之能將庇爾、是以所生者稱聖、為上帝子、

天使曰、聖神將臨爾、至上者之大能將庇爾、是以所生之聖者、必稱為天主之子、

天神對曰：『聖神臨汝、至尊之德庇汝、因是所生聖者、應稱天主子。

The angel answered,“ The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

耶穌基督降生的事記在下面：他母親馬利亞已經許配給約瑟，還沒有迎娶，馬利亞就從聖靈懷了孕。

到一個童女那裏，她已經許配大衛家的一個人，名叫約瑟；童女的名字叫馬利亞。

你要懷孕生子，要給他起名叫耶穌。他將要為大，稱為至高者的兒子；主上帝要把他祖先大衛的王位給他。

正考慮這些事的時候，忽然主的使者在約瑟夢中向他顯現，說：「大衛的子孫約瑟，不要怕，把你的妻子馬利亞娶過來，因她所懷的孕是從聖靈來的。

因為我們的大祭司並非不能體恤我們的軟弱；他也在各方面受過試探，與我們一樣，只是他沒有犯罪。

我看見了，所以作證：這一位是上帝的兒子。」

拿但業回答他：「拉比！你是上帝的兒子，你是以色列的王。」

說：「拿撒勒人耶穌，你為甚麼干擾我們？你來消滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，你是上帝的聖者。」

二人正沿路往前走，到了有水的地方，太監說：「看哪！這裏有水，有甚麼能阻止我受洗呢？」

現在活着的不再是我，乃是基督在我裏面活着；並且我如今在肉身活着，是因信上帝的兒子而活；他是愛我，為我捨己。

百夫長和跟他一同看守耶穌的人看見地震和所經歷的事，非常害怕，說：「他真是上帝的兒子！」

耶穌卻不言語。大祭司對他說：「我指着永生上帝命令你起誓告訴我們，你是不是基督－上帝的兒子？」耶穌對他說：「你自己說了。然而，我告訴你們，此後你們要看見人子坐在權能者的右邊，駕着天上的雲來臨。」

誰能使潔淨出於污穢呢？誰也不能！

這樣，在上帝面前人怎能稱義？婦人所生的怎能潔淨？

我們從前也都生活在他們當中，放縱肉體的私慾，隨着肉體和心中的意念去做，和別人一樣，生來就是該受懲罰的人。

何況那污穢可憎，喝罪孽如水的世人呢！

看哪，我是在罪孽裏生的，在我母親懷胎的時候就有了罪。

我要傳耶和華的聖旨，他對我說：「你是我的兒子，我今日生了你。

在船上的人都拜他，說：「你真是上帝的兒子。」

但記載這些事是要使你們信耶穌是基督，是上帝的兒子，並且使你們信他，好因着他的名得生命。

上帝的兒子，耶穌基督福音的起頭。

這樣一位聖潔、無邪惡、無玷污、遠離罪人、高過諸天的大祭司，對我們是最合適的；他不像那些大祭司，每日必須先為自己的罪，後為百姓的罪獻祭，因為他只一次將自己獻上就把這事成全了。律法所立的大祭司本是有弱點的人，但在律法以後，上帝以起誓的話立了兒子為大祭司，成為完全，直到永遠。

那試探者進前來對他說：「你若是上帝的兒子，叫這些石頭變成食物吧。」
