天使回答說：「聖靈要臨到你身上，至高者的能力要蔭庇你，因此所要生的聖者必稱為神的兒子。

天使曰、聖神將臨爾、至上者之能將庇爾、是以所生者稱聖、為上帝子、

天使曰、聖神將臨爾、至上者之大能將庇爾、是以所生之聖者、必稱為天主之子、

天神對曰：『聖神臨汝、至尊之德庇汝、因是所生聖者、應稱天主子。

The angel answered,“ The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

And the angel answered her,“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy— the Son of God.

The angel replied,“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.

耶穌基督降生的事記在下面：他母親馬利亞已經許配了約瑟，還沒有迎娶，馬利亞就從聖靈懷了孕。

到一個童女那裏，是已經許配大衛家的一個人，名叫約瑟。童女的名字叫馬利亞；

你要懷孕生子，可以給他起名叫耶穌。他要為大，稱為至高者的兒子；主神要把他祖大衛的位給他。

按聖善的靈說，因從死裏復活，以大能顯明是神的兒子。

正思念這事的時候，有主的使者向他夢中顯現，說：「大衛的子孫約瑟，不要怕！只管娶過你的妻子馬利亞來，因她所懷的孕是從聖靈來的。

因我們的大祭司並非不能體恤我們的軟弱。他也曾凡事受過試探，與我們一樣，只是他沒有犯罪。

我看見了，就證明這是神的兒子。」

拿但業說：「拉比，你是神的兒子，你是以色列的王！」

「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是神的聖者。」

二人正往前走，到了有水的地方，太監說：「看哪，這裏有水，我受洗有甚麼妨礙呢？」

我已經與基督同釘十字架，現在活着的不再是我，乃是基督在我裏面活着；並且我如今在肉身活着，是因信神的兒子而活；他是愛我，為我捨己。

百夫長和一同看守耶穌的人看見地震並所經歷的事，就極其害怕，說：「這真是神的兒子了！」

耶穌卻不言語。大祭司對他說：「我指着永生神叫你起誓告訴我們，你是神的兒子基督不是？」耶穌對他說：「你說的是。然而，我告訴你們，後來你們要看見人子坐在那權能者的右邊，駕着天上的雲降臨。」

誰能使潔淨之物出於污穢之中呢？無論誰也不能！

這樣在神面前，人怎能稱義？婦人所生的怎能潔淨？

我們從前也都在他們中間，放縱肉體的私慾，隨着肉體和心中所喜好的去行，本為可怒之子，和別人一樣。

何況那污穢可憎、喝罪孽如水的世人呢！

我是在罪孽裏生的，在我母親懷胎的時候就有了罪。

受膏者說：我要傳聖旨。耶和華曾對我說：你是我的兒子，我今日生你。

在船上的人都拜他，說：「你真是神的兒子了。」

但記這些事要叫你們信耶穌是基督，是神的兒子，並且叫你們信了他，就可以因他的名得生命。

神的兒子，耶穌基督福音的起頭。

像這樣聖潔、無邪惡、無玷污、遠離罪人、高過諸天的大祭司，原是與我們合宜的。他不像那些大祭司，每日必須先為自己的罪，後為百姓的罪獻祭；因為他只一次將自己獻上，就把這事成全了。律法本是立軟弱的人為大祭司；但在律法以後起誓的話，是立兒子為大祭司，乃是成全到永遠的。

那試探人的進前來，對他說：「你若是神的兒子，可以吩咐這些石頭變成食物。」
