天神對曰：『聖神臨汝、至尊之德庇汝、因是所生聖者、應稱天主子。

The angel answered,“ The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

耶稣基督的诞生是这样的：耶稣的母亲玛丽亚已经许配给约瑟，在他们成婚以前，玛丽亚就由圣灵怀了孕。

到一个童贞女那里。这童贞女名叫玛丽亚，已经许配给大卫家族一个名叫约瑟的人。

看哪，你将要怀孕生一个儿子，你要给他起名叫耶稣。他将要为大，被称为至高者的儿子；主、神要把他先祖大卫的王位赐给他。

照着圣洁的灵说，藉着从死人中复活，他被显明是神大能的儿子。

约瑟思考这些事以后，忽然主的一位天使在约瑟梦中显现，说：“大卫的后裔约瑟，不要怕迎娶玛丽亚做你的妻子，因为她里面所怀的是由圣灵而来的。

因为我们的大祭司不是不能同情我们的种种软弱，而是在各方面照着与我们相同的样式受过试探，只是没有犯罪。

我看到了，就见证：这一位就是神的儿子。”

拿旦业说：“拉比，你是神的儿子，你是以色列的王！”

说：“拿撒勒人耶稣，我们与你有什么关系？你来毁灭我们吗？我知道你是谁，你是神的那位圣者。”

当他们沿路前行的时候，来到一个有水的地方。太监说：“看哪，有水！有什么能阻止我受洗呢？”

所以现在活着的不再是我，而是基督在我里面活着；并且如今我在肉体中活着，是因信神的儿子而活；他爱我，甚至为我舍弃了自己。

百夫长和那些与他一起看守耶稣的人，看见地震和所发生的事，就极其惧怕，说：“这个人真是神的儿子！”

耶稣却沉默不语。大祭司又对他说：“我命令你指着永生的神起誓，告诉我们你是不是基督——神的儿子？”耶稣回答他，说：“你已经说了。不过我告诉你们：将来你们会看见人子坐在全能者的右边，在天上的云彩中来临。”

我们从前也都生活在他们中间，生活在自己肉体的欲望里，行肉体和意念所愿的事。我们正如其他人，生来也是震怒之下的儿女。

看哪，我在罪孽里出生；我母亲怀胎时，我就在罪中！

我要宣讲耶和华的谕旨：他对我说：“你是我的儿子，我今日生了你。

船上的人都拜耶稣，说：“你真是神的儿子！”

但这些事被记下来，是要你们相信耶稣就是基督、是神的儿子；并且使你们因着信，就奉他的名有生命。

神的儿子耶稣基督福音的开始。

这样一位圣洁、没有邪恶、毫无玷污、与罪人分开、高过诸天的大祭司，对我们实在是合宜的。他不需要像其他大祭司那样天天献祭：先为自己的罪孽，然后为子民；因为当他把自己献上的时候，就一次性地把这事完成了。律法委任的大祭司都有软弱，但在律法以后，誓言保证的话语所委任的儿子，却永远完全。

那试探者前来对他说：“你如果是神的儿子，就吩咐这些石头变成食物吧！”
