The Son of the Most High God will rule forever over his people. They are from the family line of Jacob. That kingdom will never end.”

“ In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.

But about the Son he says,“ Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

“ In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

Once for all, I have sworn by my holiness— and I will not lie to David—that his line will continue forever and his throne endure before me like the sun;it will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.”

Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me; your throne will be established forever.’”

Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.’

The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

Then Jesus came to them and said,“ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I will make the lame my remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The Lord will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever.

But the holy people of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever— yes, for ever and ever.’

No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule— to the Israel of God.

This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah the son of David, the son of Abraham:

It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.

For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh—

Deliverers will go up on Mount Zion to govern the mountains of Esau. And the kingdom will be the Lord’s.

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.( The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
