“ Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her,“ for you have found favor with God!

天使對她說：「馬利亞，不要怕，你在神面前已經蒙恩了。

天使對她說：「瑪麗亞，不要害怕，你在上帝面前已經蒙恩了。

天使說：“馬利亞，不要怕！因你已從神那裡蒙了恩。

天使對她說：『馬利亞，別怕了；你在上帝面前已經蒙恩。

天使對她說：「瑪麗亞，不要怕，因為你在神面前蒙恩了。

天使曰、馬利亞勿懼、爾獲恩於上帝矣、

天使曰、瑪利亞勿懼、爾於天主前得恩寵、

天神復曰：『瑪莉雅、勿驚！爾實見寵於天主、

But the angel said to her,“ Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God.

And the angel said to her,“ Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

Then the angel told her,“ Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.

Then the angel told her: Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

So the angel said to her,“ Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God!

The angel said to her,“ Don’t be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says,“ Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I gave Egypt as a ransom for your freedom; I gave Ethiopia and Seba in your place.Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

But the angel said,“ Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God has heard your prayer. Your wife, Elizabeth, will give you a son, and you are to name him John.

Though you are a lowly worm, O Jacob, don’t be afraid, people of Israel, for I will help you. I am the Lord, your Redeemer. I am the Holy One of Israel.’

So we can say with confidence,“ The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”

The Lord who made you and helps you says: Do not be afraid, O Jacob, my servant, O dear Israel, my chosen one.

One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him,“ Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent!For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.”

“ So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.

Then the angel spoke to the women.“ Don’t be afraid!” he said.“ I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

and he said,‘ Don’t be afraid, Paul, for you will surely stand trial before Caesar! What’s more, God in his goodness has granted safety to everyone sailing with you.’

But Jesus spoke to them at once.“ Don’t be afraid,” he said.“ Take courage. I am here!”
