我必使你的舌头贴住上膛，以致你哑口，不能作责备他们的人；他们原是悖逆之家。

藉这两件不可更改的事—在这些事上，神绝不会说谎—我们这些逃往避难所的人能得到强有力的鼓励，去抓住那摆在我们前头的指望。

凡我所疼爱的，我就责备管教。所以，你要发热心，也要悔改。

那日你要向逃脱的人开口说话，不再哑口无言。你必这样成为他们的预兆，他们就知道我是耶和华。”

他们就向他父亲打手势，问他这孩子要叫什么名字。他要了一块写字的板，写上：“他的名字是约翰。”他们就都惊讶。

有一个搀扶王的军官回答神人说：“看哪，即使耶和华打开天上的窗户，也不可能有这事。”以利沙说：“看哪，你必亲眼看见，在那里却吃不到什么。”

耶稣回答：“唉！这不信的世代啊，我和你们在一起要到几时呢？我忍耐你们要到几时呢？把他带到我这里！”

我们纵然失信，他仍是可信的，因为他不能否认自己。

那军官回答神人说：“看哪，即使耶和华打开天上的窗户，也不可能有这事。”神人说：“看哪，你必亲眼看见，在那里却吃不到什么。”

这相信的女子是有福的！因为主对她所说的话都要应验。”

这真理是在盼望那无谎言的神在万古之先所应许的永生，

到他出来，却不能和他们说话，他们就知道他在圣所里见了异象；他直向他们打手势，因为他成了哑巴。

有一位说：“明年这时候，我一定会回到你这里。看哪，你的妻子撒拉会生一个儿子。”撒拉在那人后面的帐棚门口也听见了。亚伯拉罕和撒拉都年纪老迈，撒拉的月经已停了。撒拉心里窃笑，说：“我已衰老，我的主也老了，怎能有这喜事呢？”耶和华对亚伯拉罕说：“撒拉为什么窃笑，说：‘我已年老，果真能生育吗？’耶和华岂有难成的事吗？到了所定的时候，我必回到你这里。明年这时候，撒拉会生一个儿子。”撒拉因为害怕，就不承认，说：“我没有笑。”那人说：“不，你的确笑了。”

耶和华对他说：“谁造人的口呢？谁使人口哑、耳聋、目明、眼瞎呢？岂不是我—耶和华吗？

后来十一使徒坐席的时候，耶稣向他们显现，责备他们不信，心里刚硬，因为他们不信那些在他复活以后看见他的人。

以法莲的首都是撒玛利亚；撒玛利亚的领袖是利玛利的儿子。你们若是不信，必站立不稳。’”

但是耶和华对摩西、亚伦说：“因为你们不信我，没有在以色列人眼前尊我为圣，所以你们必不能领这会众进入我所要赐给他们的地去。”

即使有不信的，这又何妨呢？难道他们的不信就废掉神的信实吗？
